well i  am heading to HK and Macau..anyone had any experience going to the gp?
I am thinking of doing day trips to Macau on the  Friday and Saturday and mongering in HK each evening.

I am a little worried about the ferry queues or immigration holdups. Any advice?

I have been during the Grand Prix. I didn't have any problems with the ferry queues or with immigration. Actually, I should say I had no more than usual. Ferries can be busy, especially around midnight as people try to get back to HK after an evening out (whether during the Grand Prix or not). My secret weapon is ... money. Booking super-class rather than economy class makes the difference between getting on or not getting on. The difference in cost is only a couple hundred HKD, so in the context of a night's punting, not a lot. But since it gets me where I want to go, it's worth it (to me at least).

Also, the punting seemed no busier or less busy than usual, to me. It seems that GPers are perhaps gamblers, but they don't overwhelm the punting scene.

It ok during the gp been loads of times for the gp.

For watching the gp go practise day if only 50hkd or so a ticket.

Bars like MP3 are not busy til midnight ... Although if get there about 10 ish or 11 it will quiet but you'll get dibs on a good looking girl as she arrives. I had the sane girl last year from MP3 2 nights running on 2nd had he friend 2 one of the better filapina 3somes.

Will also be at the GP on Sat and Sun. Hotel cost me an arm and my left nut. Good thing I still have my right nut for punting!

It's gonna be a rather tame weekend since there will be an outsider in the midst of this trip (read: won't be going to saunas). Planning on hitting up Club Cubic but am wondering if anybody knows where to go for the parties during the weekend? Are there any places that are MUST GO?

First time at the GP, not the first time in Macau. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
