Just finishing a 4 week trip between Bangkok and Pattaya.

Pleasantly surprised that Thailand is back open, and fully open for the most part.  Except for the places that didn't survive the Covid shutdown, most bars & shopping spots are open.  Things are normal except for virtually all Thai's still wearing masks ... everywhere. Look around the malls and mass transit and almost all Thais are masked, while most Farangs are not.

Lot's of new, nice small bars have popped up ... BKK Soi 7, 8 and 11, and all over Pattaya. Definitely a buyers market and all were fully staffed with ladies, while I would say customer load is only up to 80 to 90%.

Above is IMHO, but based on a lot of walking around. One thing for sure is the Thai people are as lovely and friendly as ever, and glad to be back to (almost) normal.

All the beer bars at soi7 were half full but it was early around 7ish on a wednes

On Soi 11 around 9ish most of the bars were full nice buzz around them, hillary was busy but not packed to the gills.

I ended up in Lusty lady's it's hiden round the back of where danial thaiger burgers was located  stayed there for a few beers and some pool, I was one of 3 in there, letterafewgroups joined. It a mixture of people. Thai whiteboys and Asians. But didn't take home anything. Nice place to chill like an up class go go but no real hands on action like in nana or cowboy type joints.
