Looking forward to your report. But I think she's Korean. The Koreans all have the eye surgery which is a give away. Japanese rarely modify their eyes. Hopefully, with a name like Kenji, you speak Japanese and can check her veracity.

That's a rather broad statement. I once looked into fairly simple eye surgery to correct a drooping eyelid. There was a significant chance
that my eyelids would never close again. So, without stats to back it up, I question whether that's the case. It's almost like saying that
there are no beautiful Koreans. Every nationality has its share of stunners.

OK, I have a question about Korean gals. I've met quite a few in Hoan Kong - always married, but always flirty and sexy.
But my wife, who's local, says she's never worried because no Korean woman would ever cheat on her husband.
Is that true??  

I've no idea. But I wonder where your wife gets her info vis-a-vis Korean married women?

Korean men seem very macho and violent towards their women. The first day I visited Korea, saw two separate incidents on Seoul streets where a guy punched his wife in the face and knocked her down. That evening in a disco, I saw another guy drag a girl by the hair into an elevator as she protested.

So maybe the wife would fear her husband?

But in spite of the above incidents, I'm reluctant to draw conclusions because I really don't know much about Korean society.

May also be because most Korean wives don't work and are totally dependant on their husbands. The ones I know  just shop
and have fun - and love to drink. But I'm also no expert on Korean society and might be completely wrong.

Btw, there's nothing macho about beating women. A major element of machismo is the respect and protection of women.

That's true as long as the woman does as she's told. But another aspect of the macho personality is that definitions of acceptable male/female behavior are very inflexible, and when lines are crossed one's self-respect and face are threatened, and that can lead to violence.
