I only have a USA mobile # that I usually use in HK,  and I also have a China cell # that I use in China (but wont work in HK). I am thinking there is no way the mamas and papas will answer there phone if I am calling with my USA mobile.   Should I buy a HK SIM card just to call the papas?   I would use my hotel phone but what if I am out in the field doing studies. Anyone can help me out?   Maybe with prices also. Thanks, Jayson

Either way, use a land line/office/hotel.........tell them u are callin fr the hotel to make the booking.....get location and ready to bang.....but still when u reach the Gal's Hotel, u still need to call again to know the exact room of the gal........unless u can speak canto/chinese proving u called just now from the Hotel....else they will thought another customer called. They will still ask for your number to call u back to confirm your booking and phone number?. I dont think they will phone Int phonecall (usa sim) to confirm your booking?. As bro Hunter says just get a prepaid sim card when u arrive?. Pick them up at 7/11 at airport?. So much easier!!

Basically confirming what I thought was the right thing to do.    I get in 630am on Sunday and leave for china on Monday morning.     I really have to set my schedule up well if I am gonna get three pops in. I just hope I dont run down my shopping list of 18-19 without getting any confirmations.   Jake seems to have mentioned having this problem. Hoping to provide all the bros with some good field reports.

Saved me alot of money in the past. Although they might not have the deal anymore.
