As I pointed out myself, Herpes is always something to be wary of. And the scenario you describe is exactly what I'm afraid of. But, to be consistent, you would also have to avoid kissing, since genital herpes and oral herpes are the same viruses, and just as easily passed from mouth to mouth/genitalia as genitalia to genitalia/mouth. So when visiting these girls, no oral sex, no kissing, always wear a condom - why not just stay home and jerk of?.

Had a full set of tests done in Seattle this June. The guy who did the tests said the chances of getting HIV from oral sex with an infected girl were as close to 0 as math can get (whew!). He also said the chances of getting HIV from one encounter with an infected women were less than 300/1 for a circumcised man - double that if not circumcised.

Statistics are interesting. Each year about 100,000 Americans die from infections caught while staying in US hospitals. That's far greater than the death rate from AIDS.

for gonorrhea,  the symptoms should show up in a day or two.
(After been infected, when you pee, you will get a burning sensation in your dick. Although common, the treatment is quite scary if you ask me.  The diagnosis consists of burning an iron or steel rod and then poking it into your dick to obtain a specimen of the virus. urgrrrr. Wait for an hour for tests. One injection and you should be fine within the next doors.

for syphilis, symptoms may not be noticeable at all; a blood test would show.

treatment was using dry nitrogen to "burn" off the lumps. the lumps kept recurring and treatment was a weekly affair. as to what the disease was, I never knew. one fine day, the lumps decided that it's enough and disappear from my life. ironically, the specialist that I consulted died of HIV. guess he got to close to the patients
