suggest a hotel in HK/Kowllon

Hello group...I'll be coming to HK next week and wonder if anyone can suggest a quality hotel that's not gonna break the bank.  Also...should I book online or wait to see if there are any specials at the airport hotel booking?

If I was coming to Hong Kong for mongering, I'd stay at the San Diego in Jordan.

There's 2 San Diego hotels in Jordan, which one... the new one on Chi Wo street or the old one?

I don't think there is any special discount from booking a hotel at the airport. It's just more convenient that way.

If you are planning to do a lot of punting, I would say staying on the Kowloon side is the way to go. Most of the hotel girls are in the TST area. If you want to try the 141 girls, you can just take the MTR. A lot of the 141 buildings are very close by to a MTR exit. If you plan on taking a trip to Macau, you can do that from the Kowloon side as well. They have a ferry terminal right by the Royal Pacific Hotel.

New San Diego is a little nicer but old San Diego is better for mongering. Don't know the prices - visited both but never
stayed in either. Probably 2 or 3 star hotels. Not luxurious, but OK for a short stay. Depends what you want to spend
your money on.
