#2 Post at 5-4-2008 18:03  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Hey skins you live in the same city as I do, Champagne Court at the back has a net cafe where I wrote alot of the reports (just off Nathan Road TST where most of the action is based). Also HK airport has free to access WIFI, PCCW also does $25 a day wifi access which is within 25 metres of any phone booth. Off the beaten track, Tai Po food court has 4 net cafes.

#4 Post at 6-4-2008 01:37  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Nooooo , I bought along a laptop and it was bulky heavy and felt like a liabilty after 2 days hunting with it, use the net cafes or bring an ee PC which is small and light. (even though my laptop is less than 3 months old) I also felt iffy about it being stolen. Bring a WIFI capable phone/PDA even an old phone like the N81 or N91 is Wifi capable newer Sony W960I is WIFI capable , fits in your pocket, easy wifi is everywhere on the Island mostly everywhere in Kowloon side and availible in major towns on any MTR route. (any place you need to get a public light bus to won't have WIFI). And anyway as said to use PCCW wifi net work you have to sign up (and pay) for it , though signinig up isn't a problem just access any webpage connected to it and it will redirect you to the PCCW sign up page. If walking around Kowloon saps you of energy lugging around a laptop is worse.

Don't recall where it is anymore ;p It was in Mongkong near Hotel 31 I think. The adventure was over 6 months ago. Should I bother trying to test my memory and post my adventure? ;p Enjoy life. #18 Post at 8-4-2008 01:42  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L As said the net cafe in Champagne court is not very busy at all , its open 24/7 and ironically it is most busy from 11pm till 9am (happy hour as they call it). it is however VERY smoky sit right next to the wall and tilt your monitor if you are afraid..... There is also Wifi for free at all the Cyber centres where you buy electronic stuff, go buy a cheap phone like erm a nokia N91 or a N81 which is wifi capable and you can browse on that instead. These phones are like from 2005 , and thus will be cheap as chips but you can still use the wifi fuction on them.
