what is the difference between hotel and phone reservations?

Phone reservations? I call the girl to make an appointment and ask her; "Your place or mine?"

Hotel reservations? The girl is staying at a hotel and I call to make an appontment to visit her at her room?

Hotel reservation mean the agent have booked rooms in one or more hotel.  He will send his girls to the hotel room to wait for you when she is ready.

Normally it is called a two call system here in the State.

You go to the hotel lobby and wait for the agent to call back when he will give you the room number where the girl is waiting.  And you visit her in her room to do the business and finish there.  You can bail out when the girl open the door did not match the ad and you can call ask the agent for the exact girl you want.

Phone reservation is just normal 141 but operated by advance phone booking.

how much advance notice do customers have to give to the agents in order to secure the services of a particular girl? one week?
would be nice if the girls post their calender online

For hotel reservation girls, same day.

These girls are tourist document and travelling from mostly China.  Or qwei-mui from Macau, Bangkok etc.  They will only stay in Hongkong for 2 weeks.

When they first arrive the agent will take pic of them and place ad in 141.  So some of these girls when they first come they don't even have a place to stay.

When you call the agent, they would be happy to send them to you for an overnight when they are fresh and new and on their first day.

Sometimes they don't charge you the high overnight fee becoz they would not have to worry about finding them a room to stay, when you have your own hotel room.  I have very good experience with these type of arrangement when the girls are very fresh.

The agent did not have control when the girl will arrive or leave.  The agent and the people behind bringing the girls into Hongkong may be different group.

I have heard that qwei-mui have up to 3 or 4 agents working with them at the same time.

I'm afraid of  a couple of things.

a.  No cell phone.  Not everyone has cell phones when doing business overseas.

b.  Not taking requests from pay phones.  I could understand the dilemma

c.  overnight.  at her hotel or yours?  could cause trouble with "someone" calling hotel and hotel staff getting jokey and letting something out.

Don't use the word 'dilemma' in Hong Kong. I'm not sure why, but local people get upset when they hear this word.
Can anyone explain why?
