I came to Hong Kong, searched and found this lovely Japanese gal, there it says - "hotel reservation" - when I call - some man answers with bad/no English and what I understand is gals don't come to hotel, then all of a sudden he drops the call. Did anybody every try these Japanese gals? Are they real? Are they worth it? How do you talk to those man-pricks on the phone? What are you supposed to tell them, so that they don't drop the call?

You come to town as a tourist, lookup some local service with girls and then expect everyone to speak english? I dont think its necessarily fair to call them 'pricks' just because they dont speak your language. You may find some of the 'managers' may speak english but its going to vary, so as the other poster suggested, perhaps try again. If not, youre out of luck. In a country where the vast population speaks either Cantonese or Mandarin, I think its you thats expecting a lot from them. My experience has been that most of them dont speak english very well, so its touch and go, and with lots of calls everyday, theres probably little incentive for them to be super polite and try to explain in broken english that they done actually speak it! Chill out, try again or try another....plenty more fish in the sea....

#7 Post at 12-3-2008 17:18  Profile Site P.M.  Font size: S M L Bro, As a fellow tourist to HK it became very clear to me early on that English is a distant 3rd language and to have expectations that an agent will be able to hold an articulate conversation over the phone is wishful thinking. I personally have not tried nor bothered with Hotel girls for this very reason following on some experiences from fellow tourist mongerers. If you must have a Japanese girl you can try and try and eventually you may (will) get lucky, you may also want to come down to pigeon English in order to be understood, forget the grammar you learned at school and stick to the 3 or 4 words that will actually clinch your date (her name , papa's hotel and what time). I have no idea what % of customers are ' English only ' but you can deduce from their lack of interest is that it is too low for them to bother. Good luck and keep trying

There are many gwailo bros here who manage quite well without any Chinese. Speak simple, clear English and you should have no problem. The agents don't care who you are, it's just that some (a very small minority) of the Chinese WGs would rather not service Westerners - tho this has yet to happen to me. Just get yourself a good tourist map that gives the location of the hotels, as HK Chinese never know the street numbers or cross streets. I have never heard of a Japanese girl (actually they're mostly Korean) refusing a Western customer - it's just that they don't seem to do outcall. 孔子曰： 君子不羞于舔屄也
