#2 Post at 31-8-2008 10:05  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Reply #1 rookie's post Very unlikely, there is no negotiation on the prices other than maybe for walkups and extra service or for anything thats not clear on the profile listings.  You may get a discount if you are a regular at a walk up but we're talking about if you're already paying $600-$700+.  The papasan won't give you a discount for the girl traveling to your hotel because the hotel room is still booked and paid for and you also incur travel costs for the WGs taxi ride to your hotel.  So, I'd imagine the papasan would just hang up and ignore you if you tried to negotiate down unless you were trying for an overnight booking.

#5 Post at 1-9-2008 10:08  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Reply #3 Jake's post Be nice to the kid Jake - he even called himself "rookie"!!! - we were all young and innocent once ... can you remember?   Rookie, in the time she travels to your hotel and gets back to her place, she could service two other guys, so he's actually doing you a favour if he sends her over, especially if she's any good at all.   That, plus the room is already a sunk cost for him so he's not saving anything.

So it is in her interest to fit as many "dates" in as possible, which would preclude going to your hotel room due to travel time etc, unless you are willing to pay over the odds (not sure on the possibilites of this but I rememeber reading something about it). The reasons for having you phone before hand: to demonstrate you mean business and to give them flexibility if the room/hotel changes from day to day.
