Hello fellas,

It'll be me and a couple friends first times to HK. A few of us speak mandarin, but no cantonese. We are interested in trying out the scene. However, being that there are 4-5 of us, walk-ups are probably not gonna work. What would be the top few massage parlors/brothols/saunas that we should hit up in HK, Macau, and maybe Guangdong? It would also be nice to have like individual bathing areas. Hey, and maybe if any bros willing to guide us around for 1/2 a day or something, we'll pay for your evening. And BTW, where does 141 come from and what does it mean exactly? Thanks!

If you want to cruise the walkups, just split up and do..why not?

Or hit one of the larger walkups mid-afternoon, should find plenty of welcoming doors.

Just a guess but I think 141 is a play on the old 121->"one to one" pun (not sure if pun is the right word).

So 141 is just a play on numbers -> "one for one" i.e. one girl for one of you ;-)

Perhaps someone can verify and correct me on this, but the version I heard goes something like this:

"141" = "one floor one" (the number "4" sounds close to the word "floor" in English).

"One floor one," in turn, is short for "1 lau 1 fung" in Cantonese which, literally translated, means "one floor one phoenix."  I believe the phoenix symbolizes a woman in Chinese culture, while the dragon represents the man, among other things. I guess that's why we usually see the dragon and phoenix symbols prominently displayed together in the larger Chinese restaurants during the dinner banquet for a wedding.

Finally, this concept of "one floor one phoenix" is purportedly based on HK's law of allowing only one WG per floor/apartment. Although, the last time I was in HK, one of the 141 WGs I visited had another girl in the apartment as we were going at it in one of 2 rooms in the apartment.  Not sure if she was just a friend waiting for her friend, my WG, to finish, or if she would receive clients in the other room at the same time.

If there are a few of you just goto Wan chai and the bars...Neptune's, Laguna and Fenwicks..
Do a search on any of these places and you will see heaps of information..Much much better then the walk ups.
All the girls will speck English and you can chat to them and see if you get on well...Just dont buy them drinks!
