When it happens in the office everyone stares at me and at home my wife rushes to the door as it sounds EXACTLY like our doorbell. Can any bro tell me how to turn it off? I can't possibly remember to turn off the sound on my computer every time I log in so that's not the solution.

I used to have very nice home office until it was commandeered by No.1 son (the kids all deserve their own room).  Anyway I have my back to the wall, and laptop screens very hard to view from side on so have plenty of time to switch screen to work related stuff.
