I frequently visit Saigon and have tried to get a girl to my hotel room and 100% of the times it has been bait and switch. They lure you with the profile of a very beautiful girl and insist that she goes to your room directly and that’s where the girl gets switched. Then you have to pay taxi money 500,000 VND. Don’t know how much money I have wasted trying to hit that one genuine profile. In search of gold in Arabian desert. I finally gave up thinking Saigon is a disaster. This last visit in May though, my stupidity tickled me again and I called another girl. One change though, that this one let me pick up from the lobby and I thought it’s a good idea as I can reject the girl then and there if she is not the same I asked for.

However, these buggers  have their game to another level.

I see the girl in lobby and she is 90% similar. I give benefit of doubt as a real person may not match picture all the time. None the less, the girl is young and beautiful.

All formalities completed - she gives her id to the reception, the record a visitor to my room and we go up.

In the room - the moment we enter she asks for money. 2.5 ml for overnight. I take out 2.5 and she asks for tip. I said tip is later, depending on service. She starts her pity pitch and claims that tip is all she earns and the rest goes to her boss. She demands 500k and I give her 500k. Hugs and kisses and this is where things started getting nasty.

She suddenly says she will hand over the 2.5 ml to her boss and come back up straight away. I can see and feel that this is going wrong. I tell her she can’t go and she gets his partner in crime aka her boss on line video call and he tries to convince me. I can already see the scam happening and yet I don’t know what to do - beat that girl up and ask her to give my money back and spend the rest of my life in Vietnam prison ? Call security and make a huge drama ?

While I am pondering over my options, the girl quickly walks to the door and walks out of the room. I hurry and chase her and then she starts shouting at me in front of the elevator when I said I will call security, “ you call girl to your room and now you threaten me to call security, I will shout “

I have completely lost my senses, but she still says, I just have to give it to my boss and then we go back up. Like a stubborn fool, I get into the elevator with her, hoping this is not a scam and she will actually walk back to the room with me. Come to lobby, walk out the door and there is a guy waiting on the bike. She steps out and challenges me, “ you want to come and stop me ? Come, come. “ then she rides the pillion of the bike and vanishes in front of my eyes.

After 20 years of mongering experience in 10 different countries, I still fell for this scam. I hate myself for this.

I never had this problem in vietnam. But i used a site that has reviews of the girl that will be servicing you. Its a vietnamese site so you would have to use google translator for the site and chat with the girls there

I used Gaito also. Even better I actually made a friend in Vietnam during my first trip who spoke English and graduated from Saigon University (pretty much like Harvard of Vietnam). Still friend with that dude and went to his wedding and met his whole family even parents. As a man he know what up so he always go out of his way to make sure I am very happy in Vietnam because he a great friend. Also he want me to come visit more often and if beautiful girl will do that than he will make it happen. So pretty much moral of the story is make a great local friend who you can trust.

Im Viet and been going back there almost every 2 years!! My recommendation For your safety and avoiding getting scammed. Please ask your family and friends who you trusted for this kind of entertainment there in SaiGon. People are super nice there but also there some dangerous ones that willing to hurt and rob you with no hesitation. I have experienced a fews and seen a tons. So please look into careful first and like i said, ask for a trusted locally family and friends that know well about the area and trustworthy. Good luck and enjoy while it lasts out there!

I use lauxanh.us or gaito, plus i speak the language so there is no up charge. These girls usually charge $20/25 to $50 per shot (30-40 minutes) if you are looking for professional call girls. There are also model/sugar baby/students and the part-timers who do it on the side for extra income... those are usually more expensive but lower mileage.
