I've learned a new word! But the fact that satyrisis  is so seldom used, in contrast to the ubiquitous nympho, gives some indication of how unforgiving society is of the lusty girl.

It could be that Raquel just wasn't getting any. Also, didn't Raquel's guy think it odd that his woman would grab you by the arm and physically prevent you from going with them? I would have been suspicious as hell. Sounds to me like Tom knew quite well what Raquel had in mind.

No, I don't underestimate myself because, despite not being the greatest looking guy or the most charming, I do seem to
have my share of unusual sexual experiences. I remember one time, I was on a new overseas posting and a guy from the
office was showing me around. I met his wife, Mandy, and she was immediately very flirty and, of course, I was flirty back.
After about a week, the company still hadn't arranged for my car so Paul and Mandy took me out to a club. Mandy was

OK. Paul said he thought we should go inside and talk about it. So we went into my apartment but, to be honest, I can't
really remember much of the conversation. I can't even remember if Mandy stayed with me that night. But an affair did start
and it went on for about a year with the full knowledge of Paul, who actually became quite a good friend. It ended when
Paul was transferred back to the UK head office and Mandy went with him. About a year later, I was also transferred back
to UK and found that Paul and Mandy were divorced. I was still friends with Paul but I never saw Mandy again. Soon after, I
changed companies and was transferred overseas again and never saw Paul again.
