Q: Where to find computer/internet access in HK to look up 141?

so...I'm visiting Hong Kong this December and I definitely will need to check 141 online to see the current available girls.  I won't be bringing my laptop with me and I definitely will not be looking up 141 in my Aunt's home so somebody please tell me where I can access the internet discreetly in HK.  I'm sure there are internet cafe's somewhere but how do these internet cafe's work?  Thank you.

If you have a phone or ipod touch / any other portable WiFi device, you can access the web in all manner of places, you just buy a scratch card in 7-11 etc and then log in. Starbucks has WiFi. Can't really help with the Internet Cafes, sorry.

Depends where you plan to go in HK to surf. Pacific Coffee cafes, available through HK, have computers that can access the internet but it's not private. Some MTR stations like Central, Wanchai and Kowloon Tong have free Internet access but again not private screens.

If in Wanchai, there is a cyber cafe called Fresh - http://www.freshcybercafe.com

There are, ahem, Internet cafes that have girls who can teach you use the Internet...

You can even get wifi from outdoor phone booths! Wifi is everywhere in HK, you just need to get a scratch card or use your CC as per bro mxq.

Bro asia-play... internet cafes where girls teach you to use the internet? I need some help!! where are these "Cafes"!?

nice!  Will these internet cafe girls be able to help me choose which girl I should bang from sex141?

anyway, I have a PSP...but it's gonna be a pain to surf the web on there....maybe I should consider buying one of those small netbooks to bring with me....

Man... I don't hang out in Mong Kok enough... will have to do some exploring when I have time.. any "signs" to look for so I don't walk into an internet cafe full of 12 year olds playing WarCraft?

At the back of Champs A is a internet cafe which doesn't care what you look at , its a bit run down though and costs $7 an hour to use AND you have to get a membership card for $50 or something , but its open 24/7, they have two rows , the new faster machines to play games with 21 inch screens and the older ones , everybody goes for the wide screen PCs and thus the smaller screen PCs you often have the whole section to yourself.

Typical HK net cafe though , ie inconsiderate users who have the sound cranked way up on a single song / film going round and round , fairly heavy smoking going on and sticky floors.

Mongkok computer centre has a free wifi spot on the 3rd floor in the corner , its got 3 mains sockets too and its unrestricted and fast enough to get 500kb/sec.

Also in Mongkok as you come out the MTR to Ladies street there is an internet cafe (which is expensive) to your left as its expensive its pretty empty.

wasn't that the rage a few years ago - Internet cafes that also served as a place where you could choose your girl?  In fact, that was one of the places the guys went to in the infamous HK punter movie Men Suddenly In Black.

I'm just wondering, couldn't you just get a 3 SIM card, and go on the internet? Elsewise, I would think you could try to visit a HK library, I would think that they have computers there, and go on the internet? Or is it different, then here in the NY area of USA?

nah  I wouldn't wanna surf 141 in a library (site will probably be blocked anyway)....ill just use one of those internet cafes.....regarding the sim card....i dont have one of the fancy cell phone with web browsing capability, so won't help me...

Found a great free app for the iphone/ipod touch on itunes the other day. Called HK Free Wifi. Just open the app, choose your location and it'll tell you where there's free wifi. Only downside is it's all in Chinese...
