Here in SIN, I've visited one particular papasan's thai gal and the towels provided seemed like they had been used for thousands of years , maybe some exaggeration here but think a white towel washed so many times its turning gray with holes or a grey towel becoming white, and you get the picture. Plus the hotel rooms were old and worn.

Boycotted the papasan soon after. Have to at least bonk in a proper room. Not to be anal about hygiene, but since there are other choices, its hard to go back. Plus if the hotel rooms are good or at least decent, helps with the hotel gals comfort level. I've even visited one hotel gal and there was a massage chair in the hotel room It wasn't even a 5-star hotel.

As for walk-ups in HK, well, even though most WGs wouldn't want to risk having dirty towels lying around, its still better to adopt some safety precautions like what hunter has mentioned. Plus there is the problem of the quality of the laundry service ...

After you're done drying yourself afterwards, some WGs use the towel to dry the floor too. In fact, they use them to dry anything... Always use tissue to wipe your bits and your face, at any kind of venue!

I think a bigger challenge than towels is with table-shower places.  The quick rinse they give the table never seems to be enough to counter all the time it's been sitting around, soaking wet, contaminated by the prior client's cooties.    I swear I caught ringworm from such an establishment once . . . but I suppose it could also have been from the street walking, crack-whore transexual I did BB in the ass behind the dumpster.

Also, notice how most walk-ups use their own towels, i.e. not the ones for punters? That tells you a lot about the punters' towels...

Yikes.  I haven't run into that yet.  I do remember that the girls I've seen at 123 Bonham all pulled their towels from the same pile as they pulled mine (and those towels were in pretty decent shape for cheap-ass towels).

On the other hand, the transexual crack-whore from behind the dumpster just used a two week old hanky that was getting pretty crusty.  

So far, no spore samples as far as I can tell, thank god... the worst was a towel that really, really smelled of mildew - I hate that smell

The Bonham Strand and Wing Lok St girls both pull towels from same pile any punter uses. I know a few of the Kwun Tong ones get fresh bags of towels at night from the cleaners. I carry a spare tee in my bag incase I sweat when I'm out but also for instances where towels seem a bit ragged, better be safe than sorry =)
