I'm 1.85m
90 kg

or

6'
198 lbs

I like my weight though I've quite some fat to loose because it's been a very long time I've hit the gym. Though I look slim for somebody my weight.

I remember a few years back I went to the doctor's for some reason. She asked me to get on the scale and she was stunned to see
I was 98 kg at that time. She urge me to loose some weight. I smiled and said: "no way...I like the way I am !"

11 years ago I used to be skinny weighing 70 kg and there's no way I want to go back this period. I could loose 15 kg with almost no effort if I wanted but I just don't want

IMHO being big is not a problem if it fits you well and when it's mostly muscle that you have. So the magic words seems to be "sport and exercice". Look all those rugbymen, the guys are buff but nobody advise them to loose weight...  right

big and buff are totally different than big and fat. Muscle weighs more than fat so you can have someone who is tone and be the same weight as someone who is fat assuming they are the same height.

I am seen some white guys in GFS who are at least 6'6" tall and big too.  I can see why some wgs refuse some of these white guys because of the body size difference, afraid the guy will squash them.

You're right. That's exactly what I think. That's why I told my doctor I didn't want to loose any weight when I was 98 kg. I was even trying to go up to 105 kg just to see what I will look like.
As I said before, my doctor was stunned to see I was weighing so much. Indeed, like you said, there's a difference between buff and fat. She knew beforehand that I was going regurlary to the gym. As I had an athletic figure she couldn't guess I was that heavy and that's reason she was surprised and panicked when she saw my weight.

My point is, like so many people this doctor paid heed only to the digits she saw on the scale. She urged me to loose weight without even taking into account I was not fat and was working out on regular basis. My visit wasn't for a problem due to weight. Why someone should absolutely loose weight when they feel in good shape and like themselves the way they are ?

IMHO, there's a weight obsession that is hammered to people these days in our western countries. Its no wonder some female teenagers endanger their life by getting anorexic  when being obsessed to look like some skinny fashion models. On the other hand, many women who are just plump get too anxious because they undergo this dictatorship of slimness which leads them into trying some rubbish diets wich get them even fatter, as a side effect. Thus increasing their anxiety, stress and sometimes lead to severe depression.

I've heard that excuse sooo many times - "yeah, I'm heavy - but it's all muscle".

Yah wanna know if you're fat, buy a pair of calipers and checlk your percentage body fat.
Below 20%, you're fine. above 25%, you're fat.

As you say, you're weight versus height, doesn't tell you a lot.

Better to find a sport that you enjoy. Gym is so fuckin boring, very few people can stick at it
and you quickly lose all your gains. I can't do Gym.

Got a belly that I have been trying for the past one year to lose. I used to be able lose a lot of weight just running but it doesn't work now. My metabolic rate plummeted over the last 5 years.

I now go to the gym twice a week and have a personal trainer to help me bulk up with muscles. The idea is that with more muscles, your metabolic rate needs to increase to maintain the muscles. It's gets tougher to lose weight as you age as your metabolic rate slows and your body can't take the intensity of the exercises. It's best to start as soon as you can and not leave it until it's too late.

The other benefit/motivation is that you see more of your dick with the belly gone.

Gym can be less boring with some challenge.
I do like to practice but I need to find one place not so far from my home with good equipment.
I am thinking about joining Pure in Lamgham Palace.

Yeah...you're definitely right.
That's exactly what I read in a magazine a while ago and I do agree.
It's important to have a challenge, to start with a place not far from home or workplace, and a place we feel confortable with(nice facilities, good equipements etc..).
I have one not far from home where I started but the place is really seedy now and I can't find the motivation to work out inthis kind of environment. But maybe it's just an excuse to avoid moving my ass from the couch
