#42 Post at 1-2-2010 11:35  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L The majority of people I've spoken to that are into their gadgets etc all seem of the same mind as a lot of people here seem to - that right now, the iPad isn't quite there yet (almost but not quite) and the lack of a camera is a big miss. But, Apple will fix all these things plus drop the price, and when they do, it's a possibility that I might consider getting one... One thing for sure, once they are on sale here, I'm definitely dropping by an Apple retailer to play with one instore, to see what it's like. The hinge would also have a home button, as well as indicators for wireless signal and battery strength. The two screens can accept handwriting from a stylus or multi-touch inputs from your fingers. Courier would not have any type of keyboard, and rely entirely on handwriting recognition for text input. Courier would also include Wi-Fi connectivity, and a camera on the back of the device. There's no word on whether Courier would include extras like a Webcam for video conferencing or 3G connectivity. In this instance, what you see is what you get: An oversized iPod touch. I'm willing to bet any limitations it will have are deliberate omissions so they are able to sell a more enticing second generation product (i.e.: Front facing and rear facing cameras.) Not quite the case with the iPhone 3G, that introduced many improvements and fixes over the original.
