I think I'm OK with the new categories and discussions threads. Simplified. Nice to get rid of the useless spam magnet threads with all the porn and download links. I just hope those don't start up in the lounge.

Good job. It might helpful if you could post a simple cross reference where the discussions were moved from old to new. Maybe put it in the forum guidelines sections with some links to it in the new categories.

Basically Intel on WGs, Finding WGs on Social Media and QA have been combined into Mongering Talk, while Talk is Cheap, News, Jokes and Erotica is The Lounge. The threads from Polls are being moved to either the Subforum for Mongering Talk or The Lounge, depending on whether they are mongering related. Some news items in The Lounge will be shifted to Mongering Talk. It will take some time sorting through the stuff, but the simplified layout will mean less flipping through sections.

Here are some other changes that may not be instantly recognised:

1. Newbie Reports
All Newbie Reports will go there now. Thread starters in that section will 10K (up from 5K) to help report sharing newbies to jump over the first hurdle (RA10 》RA20) more speedily.

2. Mongering Talk
Thread starters get automatic 1K (before it was 5 Acceptance Points for QA). People can now give K or A for ratings in that section. Sometimes bros give quality responses and deserve some K. Now bros will have the opportunity to do that.

3 Acceptance Points
1 credit = 20 Acceptance Points (previously it was 1 credit = 50 Acceptance points). Some of you might have noticed a upward change in your credits - that is why.  

4. Forum threads more public accessible
The site owner requested this. A compromise reached is keeping the Restricted Access section. You can still RA your pics. If you don't want to share reports with non-members, you can put them in he restricted section or RA10 the whole thread if posted in the other report sections.

to make threads at least RA10 if they identify the massage girl by name or number ~ at least this will give some minute protection to the girl

If you are asking whether non-newbies can be stopped from posting reports in the newbie section, then the answer is 'yes', or it should be 'yes'. Only mods (RA120, RA150) and newbies (RA10) can start new threads in Newbie Reports. Previously, anybody could start a new thread there, so we asked admin to add that restriction. Give it a try, and if you can start a thread, I will ask admin to kindly add that restriction.

This makes me very nervous. There are some old posts of mine that I had not put an RA on but felt some comfort that a non-registered person could not see an old post of mine if casually browsing the site. Of course if they really wanted, they could go through the trouble to register but now even that small barrier is gone and I am rather uncomfortable.

You are not the only one who feels this way and that is perfectly understandable. However, that is the request of the site owner, and if we want to see its continued existence, compromises need to be made. I am not going to RA all threads as I don't have the time, but if there are any that present immediate danger, let me know via PM (with links) and I will move it to the Restricted Access.  Only the truly exceptional cases.

Hmm, does this mean a simple google search will link to threads?

I admit, this has me a bit nervous too...  has this idea really been thought about properly?  An awful lot of members here have an awful lot to lose.

I would normally log out when I am not on the site but now the new change means even anyone can read a post with logging in...not good I think

Very likely once all the search engine bots get through it.

Google has always been able to search the index pages and category pages but had no access to the actual post text due to the member-only access wall. If someone google searched a screen name it might point only the heading of your article. Now they will soon be able to search for specific text.

The biggest problem is the exposure of incriminating posts originally made with an expected level of confidence. These old posts were made with the understanding and confidence that there would be member-only protection from search bots. Now the posts are exposed to the search bots and that, as Wander mentioned, is now the big concern. References and activities of a specific member, especially those associated with location, time and date, can now soon be searched thereby exposing a member to possible discovery by a clever SO or employer. Right now there is no recourse and no way to hide those posts and believe me that is scary.

Perhaps part of the compromise should have included the members ability to delete old incriminating posts or at least be allowed to retroactively change them to RA10. The other alternative compromise would have been for all old posts to retain their member-only protection and only new posts be exposed leaving us the option of RA10 or restricted.

I agree with Wander that it is this lack of forethought regarding the confidentiality and expected privacy (within which the member-only original posts were made) that has many of us concerned about future contributions to this forum. Hopefully this can be remedied soon because once the search bots hit, it is all over. The owner's noble attempt to expand this forum could backfire especially with those who have been posting a long time.

I would say in this day and age ALL FORUMS are loosing market share. These platforms are now very old and not appealing to the younger audience.

I just googled a few user names and "sex141".  Boom.  Direct hits to myself and others.  I clicked on sex141 without being logged in and have access to all our non-RA'ed reports and comments.  

Anybody spooked yet?

First, I get the concern folks have for the searchable posts and archives now.  I share some concern to an extent also.

But, playing Devil's Advocate, this forum may go bye-bye, if it doesn't drive more traffic and banner advertisers.  Take a look, only one banner advertiser for as long as I can remember now.  There used to be three when I first signed on here in 2013.  The owner (who I don't know or answer to btw) needs more traffic probably to pay the bills.

So, if you prefer NO forum, you may just get your wish...if we don't start getting more traffic and people patronize the banner advertisers.

The above is all my speculation, backed by nothing other than my observations and recent owner requests for opening up the "readability" of the forum.
