I just think about that, I've been to a dozen of ktv and sauna in china (zhuhai) but I've never seen a girl with glasses. even no girls with contact lense

is it because chinese girls have better eyes and don't have eyes disease? or it's because of a aesthetic issue, that's why they don't wear glasses.
Personaly I think many girls are cute with glasses

I don't know if this is the reason or not, but a few years ago when I had lasik done on my eyes in the us the dr. said he did his training in china---1,000 patients as I recall

They wear glasses.  Half of my girls (my staff) wear glasses.  But they take them off after work.  It has to do with aesthetics.  Guys who wear glasses (according to chicks here) look smart.  Gals - they need to look cute and pretty so they don't wear them.

Also there is another factor , HK food is absolutely full of MSG , because resturanteurs want to make bigger profits and use the shittiest ingredients to make bigger profits. Take oyster sauce 1% oyster 99% MSG , in the UK real oyster sauce is 95% oysters 4% clam juice and 1% MSG.

MSG is bad in lab tests have been shown to thin the retina of chimpanzees and monkeys and eventually make them go blind.

It makes rats and birds go blind also , and animals such as rats and chickens have the ability to regenerate their retinas and corneas , as in experiements scientists have blinded them with lasers and sanded down their corenal tissues and found that they can see after regenerating for a few days. Humans can't regenerate their corneas and or retinas.


in the UK some 30% of people wear glasses and or contact lenses, in HK this is close to 85% of the population.

your colleagues should wear glasses, even if they don't need them.  They need to keep up with you.

i want to stay smart...so i choose not to do lasik surgery.  in fact I'm thinking of wearing two pairs of glasses at the same time to look super smart.

Have you really tried the foods in China??? The MSG level is worse than HK.
I would say your theory is not that reasonable. If it is correct, then all the gals in PRC would be wearing glasses.......

i think near-sightedness is genetics.
Lots of chinese all over the world wear glasses and is not dependent on where they live.
i doubt it is due to food like msg.

They wear glasses.....just not when they meet punters....that way they can't see how bad looking we are
