You gotta wait at least 30 days to 6 weeks for accurate hiv test.  Some even say 3 months, but with the type of test used today, they say 6 weeks is sufficient.  Look up the " well men clinic " in HK.  Or do a search in the forum, there's alot of info for HK.

what about the other range of STD's.  I had a look at a couple of long threads, but didn't see any mention of places that would necessarily be quicker than others (ie if I want to go at lunch time, is that long enough) other than a point that the govt places might be slower but cheaper.

I found these in a couple of other threads - can't personally recommend as not tried:-

how about you try them, and report back?

That's the usual 'fee' for posting a question here ...

try the central medical practice, in princes building.  they'll check you up for the basic range of stds and you can get the results while you wait.  obviously anything that requires blood tests will take longer, but they are pretty efficient.

This case is reactive in nature but so as not to bother creating another topic, it maybe worthy to discuss here how punters like us could avoid condom slippage?. My experience, I always get the right size and thickness of condom to be used, Okomoto 0.02

Thanks everyone.  I also came across those three DArtagnan listed.

What I was hoping to find out which ones are quick to visit, do you need to book in advance and if you get results there andthen.

I am assuming the govt clinics will be the slowest but most likely the cheapest two.

Surprised, given the nature of this forum, there hasn't been more response!  Or are ppl a bit coy about discussing their checkups

I looked under the Family Planning Association of Hong Kong and got the prices of the tests.  My question is whether this price applies to all patients or only for residents of HK.  If I were to visit Hong Kong, would I be able to get tested.

You can get an oral HIV test kit at any large Mannings shop.
