need to bring passport to Macau ??

As a forigner (EU passport) do i have to bring ipassport when taking a daytrip to macau ??

ALWAYS carry it with you.  Also carry a photocopies passport of it somewhere else (like luggage) if you lose it & need to go to the embassy

I assume you're either coming in from HK or Zhuhai. Both cases you do need to carry your passport at all times. In fact, take it as a rule of thumb that when overseas, carry around your passport or copies of it on your person, and have the passport within reasonable distance (e.g. in your staying hotel). You never know when police could ask you for it, or you need it to purchase stuff like SIM cards, etc.

Don't forget you can use your camera phone to take a picture of your passport.  

Great way to do a backup. Heck, you can even take a picture of your credit card phone numbers just in case your wallet is stolen.

on very rare occassions would you get stopped andasked for ID unless you look shifty type..... but i agree bring photo copy of ID n if police still wants to see it then they can drive you to hotel

I personally wouldn't do this. If you lose your phone you've basically lost you're identity. You'll be getting credit card charges from goods shipped to nigeria, lol

some countries dont need visa but always bring passport ,instant visa can be obtained if country not on list
