7 years ago oh man that makes me feel old I posted to the 141 board what excuses do you make for not being married at your age?

That was 8 years ago. I'm now older, fitter, and making better money than ever as I enter the middle part of my life.

So how do you deal with the so why are you not married yet type prodding questions that are depressingly frequent especially from Chinese relatives? They somehow feel entitled to ask this question all the time. I simply stopped dating Chinese women for a long time because of shit like this:

I have literally been called trash because I apparently don't make enough money.

I have literally been on job interview dates where I hated being there every moment when the first question she asked was how much money do you make?

I have had to ask pretty women so what exactly can you bring to this relationship and many can't give ANY sort of answer other than you'll have the privilege of being with me!

It's not like I can't get pay for play sex is it?

TBH I think I'll never settle down or get married and should the urge for children arise I'll get a Russian surrogate or something.

I hate Those that ask that.  Look at those in the video, if those few were the last few left to chose from, I rather masterbate if/when I need....or maybe go LB.  A well paid job needs and takes time.  A house and a car is very hard in Asia (especially places like Singapore, HKG and a few major city in China to name a few).....and bet you if and when you have all these, she will complain "why aren't you at home at all?"  

But having said all that...there are still some out there that aren't like that Bro.  You just have to find them and I believe it's meant to be.  Or maybe 《"stop dating Chinese women" 》might be a good way to go.

stop dating the the local women who want to be housewives... look at all those girls who have gone overseas and come back. they probably have a mentality closer to you and still work.

If you can, move to Hong Kong and find a nice local girl.

In Hong Kong, there are more single females than single males. You can always find someone.

And believe it or not, you may even land an attractive local girl. Like any big city, every girl here in Hong Kong strives to marry a rich guy, and many have dated one...but very few stay with the super-ambitious / successful ones long enough to get marry...Why you may ask?

Well, what do all girls want in a relationship? They want someone to spend time with them and many of those guys who are rich spend too much time working or networking for work, that they neglect their women. To make matters worse for these women, rich guys attract a lot of women...which makes their gfs worry a lot of their bfs cheating. Eventually many of these gfs leave their rich bfs to look for someone more down-to-earth to spend time with them and build a life together.

I have seen the above happen with many of my friends in Hong Kong and Singapore. I think I met more gold-diggers in NYC than I met in Hong Kong and many of those gold-diggers in NYC weren't that attractive physically or personality-wise.  

Hong Kong/Singapore girls are quite fascinated with overseas guys because we have a more-rounded life interests that stems from our better work-life balance.

There are all sorts of people in the world. The girls in the video are horrible for sure, but that's not representative of the entire dating pool.

Relatives are usually older and more traditional, I just give them a kind reminder that in this day and age many stay single. Sometimes, if I can, point at their children who are also single to get me out of an interrogation

There are still good people in the world, mongering for sexual satisfaction and settling down to build a family are 2 separate things.

Haha... I've been asked that... sometimes, they're a little more subtle.
1. Am I late? Do you have the time? (To see what watch you'rewearing)
2. How'd you get here today? (To see if you're have a car, money for cab, or are a public transit taker)
3. Where do you live? (To see what area you live in)
4. Do you have a business card? (To see what company/position you're in).

There's a difference between making conversation or if they're digging for something because most don't play it off well. If they use it as a conversation starter, that's fine. If they quickly after another comment or two move to the next topic… my red flags start going up.

And I almost never answer directly. Lolz. It's entertainment for me.

But as for excuses..... I don't make excuses. When people ask me why I ain't married, I just point at the trailer park. Puwhahahaha

LOL.  In the job interview dates, would recommend answering a question with your own.  Makes the time past much faster.

I find it funny that places in HK can ask you that question.  When in the US you could get arrested for asking that question as it's not relevant to the job description.

Once I was drinking champagne at this bar with a bunch of girls we just met. One just asked upfront what I did, when I answered they all upped and left. I was there with my mates minus a couple bottles of Dom. Fuck sakes.
