Hotel Girls and Hotel Location

I recently went to my first Hotel Walk-In through the help of my friend (I don't speak sufficient canto/mando to try to navigate my way through phone appointments/hotel). The service was awesome, imcomparable to the regular 141 walkups.

The question is, I went to visit one of the DK series in TST, at Hotel E. Do agents usually use the same hotels, or do they frequently change hotels? Finding Hotel E took a long time, and I don't think I would go to another Hotel Walk-Up if similar effort was required to locate the correct Hotel location each and every time....

1. You can negotiate a hotel walk up without speaking any Cantonese. Most agents speak enough English to arrange one, and the ones that do not will SMS/text you. The worst that can happen is they just hang up.

2. The agents do tend to use the same hotels over and over again - N Hotel in Fortress Hill, GD Hotel in Wan Chai, E Hotel, P Hotel, K Hotel and RK Hotel in TST, RHK Hotel in Causeway Bay. Most 'out there' one I've had so far was I Hotel in TST East, but only becauseof its status more than where it is. At most, they switch BETWEEN the same hotels - e.g., they'll move from E Hotel to P Hotel.

3. E Hotel is really not that hard to find. Not sure what you're complaining about. Most are located within a good walking distance from the MTR.

I guess it takes a bit of work... last time the agent gave me the name of a hotel in broken English, and I asked the Taxi driver and the cab driver didn't know where it was! Probably a bad case of "Chinese whispers"...

In any case, this time my buddy told the cab the name of the holel in Chinese, and voila!

Yep - all easy.

It helps to give the name of the road too - because there is an I Hotel on Nathan Road that sounds very similar to E Hotel on K Road.

there are a bunch of hotels the agents use, and sometimes they use other hotels when the occupancy is high (i.e. during trade fairs)

in Wanchai/Causeway Bay there is a regular rotation of hotels they use. Same with the TST area. If you punt more, you will eventually figure which of the hotels they're using

just do what i do and stay at E Hotel the next time your in HK... haha.. saves me the trouble of having to travel.  There are three agents that always use that hotel.. which means we're talking about 20ish girls at any given time there!  I just eat at hte restaruant there and make sure i sit in a spot where i can see the lobby.  if i see a hot chick walk by alone or with another girl, i quickly load up the database on my iphone and scroll thru the pics... haha 60% of the time i find the girl right away and book her =)

I think that is a great idea, coz most of the time besides the hotel, even the girls names are not properly communicated and chances of B & S is there.

Timewaster, in fact you are saving time by smsing.. will try smsing the name of the girl first and then talk to the agent = will report back if that helped in avoiding a B&S

The thing with this though is - do you not feel like the staff at these hotels now 'know' you? And don't look at you in a very nice way- because you keep visiting the hotel?

This isn't a problem at places like E Hotel for me, but if it's a hotel where I also dine at times, then it becomes a bit weird coming in with family.

Absolutely I'm sure the staff know me... haha, but other than the I and RG in TST E, there really isn't any other hotel that agents use, that I would dine in anyway. And those two aren't the main hotels in use, so not so much of a problem for me I guess.

As for finding hotels, it really shouldn't be that hard.
If necessary, you could stand by the map in the mtr station which lists almost all the hotels in the area and make the call there so that you know where to walk to.

Yep - the IC, RK and RG are the ones I'd dine at too! Haven't ever had a HG in RG hotel yet and haven't been to IC either for HG - but only know a HG that I got rather close with who told me she was put up there before.

I've been to RK too many times now - and with me visiting Kobe too....hmm....looks like I best avoid dining there!

No problems with P Hotel, SH Hotel, E Hotel and the I Hotel on Nathan because I'd never go there otherwise.

By the way, the P Hotel is actually pretty nice all things considered!
