For me, it's highly dependent on whither or not I've been working out. At home (away from HK), I use to run 3 miles every day, if i did a run the day before, I get the urge about once a day. An urge like: can't think straight, need to relieve myself somehow, didn't really matter how.
At home, if I don't run, I feel unhealthy and the urge can hit me anywhere from 3 days to 7 days.
Recently when I'm on travel to HK, it's more of an opportunity assignment, than an "urge", but before when I lived in HK and everyday required walking, it was every day that i had urges... especially if the scenery in the MTR is filled with mini-skirts and cleavage.
I wish the area at home had a better public transit system like the MTR, definitely there would better scenery and less effort to maintaining good health.
