I'm not against joint bank accounts as such, but I think couples should maintain a certain amount of financial independence. My accountant, ironically, has no such independence. All his money goes into his wife's account and she gives him enough pocket money every week to cover MTR fares and lunch in café de coral. Would you put up with that shit?
