I was thinking of going to The Eden since it's very clean, luxury-esqueand nice love hotel but on another thread it says it's not a love hotel now but instead its a boutique or an actual hotel now? Could anyone shed some light on this and does anyone know of a really nice, clean and luxurious love motel? Looking for about 2hours. Not looking for those shady and dirty ones. Must be classy clean. Here check out this link to its website which states that it can be rented in two or three hour blocks as well as an overnight package after 1am. Link : http://www.mingleplace.com/eden/ For any hotel, the person who is paying and staying shows ID, ie HKID, passport. So if you don't want to show ID, ask the girl to show hers. Another hotel that is very clean is the Victoria Villa love hotel chain. There is one in TST, Wanchai, Tin Hau.

Keeping in mind that I usually frequent the cheaper spots, I've only once been asked to show my ID card, at a shit hole in Chungking mansions... Occasionally they'll ask me to write my name, but don't verify. I'm thinking that having to show ID wouldn't be too good for business in your average love hotel...
