In this very contrived argument of yours, you confuse the possibility of HIV transmission via both DATY and BB sex, with the actual risks that characterize two very different sexual practices. After all, oral sex and vaginal sex are not the same, the organs and fluids aren't the same, and the viral loads aren't the same; so isn't it just common sense that those differing factors would have at least
some influence on the transmission rate?! But you claim that the risks are
exactly the same.
You do that because your conclusions are not drawn from a scientific examination of the real differences that exist between these two activities. No, your argument is based on one thing and one thing only: when a large group of guys has had both unprotected oral and vaginal sex with a HIV positive girl, and then some become infected, there is no definitive way to know, after the fact, with absolute certainty, which sexual activity transmitted the disease in any individual case. But that is a statement of logic - it merely demonstrates that one can never rule out the possibility, no matter how remote, that that perfect storm of contributing factors (cut in mouth, etc.)
might have come together to make DATY the cause of any one
particular infection. However, that in no way constitutes proof that real instances of these two sexual practices always carry the same likelihood of infection.
Consider this situation: Someone has the flu. He is in the large atrium of the Peninsula hotel in HK where they do afternoon tea. This person coughs a few times and then goes to the men's room. He wipes his nose with his fingers and then opens the door by turning the door handle. I come along a few minutes later and grip that same doorknob and then immediately rub my eyes. 10 hours later, I walk through the same vast atrium where the flu guy coughed earlier that day. A few days later, I come down with the flu. Now, after the fact, it is impossible to know whether I caught the flu from touching the doorknob, or breathing in a flu virus particle that was still floating around in the air in that huge space 10 hours after the guy coughed. According to your reasoning, flu transmission rates for those two behaviors are identical, but an examination of the way in which the flu is actually spread in the real world would show that the doorknob was far more likely the cause of the infection. Likewise, medical researchers have discovered that BB vag sex is far more likely to spread HIV than DATY.
Hasn't it occurred to you kruptionk that the same reasoning you employ to prove that unprotected DATY and BB vag sex pose the same HIV transmission risk, could also be applied to kissing? Do it, go back to your argument and substitute DFK for DATY. So how about it sex professional, is DFK as risky as BB sex?
