Purely out of curisoity, anyone want to share if they have caught a STD from a WG in HK?

I know there is a thread with probabilities of various infection types, but lets have some real stories, feedback.

STDs from WG are common enough that everyone I know with this hobby has had a few. I've definitely needed anti-biotics before. BBBJ is not such a good idea, I guess. It eventually catches up to you.

I wonder how long it will be before the super gonnorhea from Japan gets to HK. If that happens, I'm out.

i used to take antibiotics after a trip..just to be safe. probably why we have superbug gonorrhea now.

i did have one time where everything was covered and i probably caught something. i think it was the hot towel they use afterwards. i never use the towel anymore!

You don't get superbug anything from taking a COMPLETE course of antibiotics, you get it from taking only part of the course. But recent studies have demonstrated an even stronger link between resistent (non-STD) infections and animal raising. Things like MRSA and other bugs are getting their resistance in our feedlots, where antibiotics are mixed in with animal feeds precisely so that we can pack the animals closer together. Crazy!

So ... it sounds to me the course of action is...

1. take your own towels
2. take your own super thick condorms
3. piss after sex
4. take an anti-bacteria body wash
5. gurgle out with mouth wash
6. wash your dick in mouth wash
7. wash your dick in alcohol hand wash
8. take antibiotics before and after
9. cut all your hair off to prevent crabs
10. burn your clothes afterwards in case of bed bugs

It just comes with the territory. Most things can be cured and the ones that aren’t can only be caught if you’re not careful (wearing a helmet for everything! and being aware of the girls state and not just diving in - e.g. if you see a breakout, head for the hills)

I'm not sure how it stands in HK with girls getting tested etc. but in the west its probably safer with a WG than with a random girl from a bar/club as they have fairly frequent tests/screenings (their livelihoods depend on it) whereas you have no idea where the civvie girl had been the night before.

if you're in doubt and the consequences of catching one would be so severe it would ruin your life, my advice would be to stay clear. As much fun as the hobby can be, it isn't if an extreme sense of paranoia is part of the bargain.
