Just a little paranoia for the morning...

I'm an average looking guy, but sometimes I can be pretty self conscious Just wondering if anyone of you guys felt awkward with a pretty WG before? Do you try to dress your best before heading up?

I must admit when I first started I was a little paranoid myself!

Yes for the most part quite correct - but there ARE still local/PRC WG's who have hard-to-get-over prejudices and notions on things like race/skin color and if they perceive the punter to be weird etc.

We had the murder of WG's by a perpetrator that was of South Asian descent and IMHO, there are WG's who will now refuse to even open their door to Indians/Pakistani etc.

Some of them are also convinced that a lot of Westerners are just "too big" and will also refuse service to them as they do not think it worthwhile to possibly "injure" themselves servicing Western Bros. Too much watching John Holmes and other Western Porns probably.

And as far as "Weird" is concerned - well, I think that this applies to working girls all around the world.

And please understand that I am NOT stirring up race spam/troll etc in my reply - rather it is to point out the sad but actual reality of some of these WG's prejudice/bigotry.

Or do you want to look like a respectable guy who at the very least gets his clothes cleaned, and brushes his teeth?  

... try walking into a nice restaurant wearing torn shorts, beach sandals, and a dirty t-shirt ...
... then come back the next day in a suit, and see if you get different service.

but I'll bet you the experience is different.  It's worth the small investment of effort and forethought.  

No, you don't need to get your teeth polished, she won't reject you if you didn't cut your hair this month (or longer), and don't go spending on expensive outfits or flashy bling.  She would very much prefer your dollars to end up in HER top drawer, not lining the pockets of superwealthy shareholders of expensive branded luxury stores.  So go as you are.  

But you owe yourself the respect to look your best, as you are today.  When people who see you THINK you feel like king of the street, the way you actually feel inside somehow doesn't matter quite as much as it did before.

Very inspiring people in the US dress so differently than people in Hong Kong haha. I get weird looks because of the way I dress all the time.

mw, i have no idea how u dress, but ppl in HK dress in suits, so do guys all over the world, i'm guessing u don't.

if u swagger around in rap/chav-drag with gold chains and pants hanging halfway down yr butt, that might be a bit much. but i'm guessing u don't.

just have a look around u: ppl here dress in all kinds of styles. it's good to be neatly groomed, keep yr teeth clean, wear reasonable pants/shirt/shoes. no WG is gonna kick u out for wearing sandals, but do u think they'll let you finger them if you've got long fingernails and yr hands look like u just changed yr motorbike oil? just use common sense. WGs have u shower because: how'd u like to fuck 15 guys a day and the ALL SMELL BAD?

just be clean, dress reasonably, be respectful. leave yr hangups at home. yr PUNTING, right, not walking a fashion-catwalk.

Bottom line is that this is a job for them- but then again, it's a service related job so like any other service related job, if you get that person inspired, they will do a better job....so in my book, in order to maximize a good time, do what you can to look right without going crazy about it....

A bit of Q&A b/n SEAJ and I: (Hope this answers any questions anybody may have)

Q(Mai): so ive finally gotten around to picking several (2-3) districts to check out today. I have heard that for every girl that advertises on 141, there are several others who don't. I plan on getting to some of these locations and just checking out the surroundings and some of the girls. I don't know if I will take the plunge (who knows, maybe i won't be able to control myself ) Its fine to just go to the doors to see what the girls look like right?

One more thing, although I am almost 20, I think I look younger than my age, any chance of weird looks or WGs rejecting me or asking for my ID?


A(SEAJ):Yeah - lots of the older, more established Walk-up gals don't bother to advertise any more - relyng more on their "Own goods" to sell at the door.

So yeah, just wander around the building and knock on a few doors to see what's on offer - just making sure you don't make too much of a pain of yourself to them; a siimple how much and thank you should get you enough of a look to see if you want to buy or not.  You could also  "peek" as another bro does the same - don't worry about it as a lot of us are used to this also.

As far as looking too young - again don't worry too much about this - just so long as you do NOT make a pain of yourself and make the gal think you're just a kid up to kid's pranks - then you MAY get some grief from them or even their keepers etc. So yes, be a bit careful to NOT appear as if you're just up to pranks. And once you;'ve established your "bonafieds" and actually do a girl, then the handlers/gals know that you're not just pranking.

And you could even turn it to your advantage - actually tell her its your cherry experience and if you're lucky, she may even give you a Laisee!!  LOL!

It's not the always the case.  Some girls can be very very selective.  I know the prettier the girl, usually have the worst attitude.   
If they don't want or need your business ( money ) they can just say NO.  They know they can refuse you and get someone else. These type of girls know they
will always get picked in a night.  I have been resfused a few times.

Just remember that WGs are people too. When the door opens, you think "I'd pay money to do her", and she thinks "I'd do him if he paid me"; that way both sides are happy. Her threshold is probably a lot lower than yours since she receives the money, but she's still human.

A lot of good advice here son.
Follow it, and stop worrying about cheeky sign offs, too much already.
Keep in mind also, that some girls may give you problems because you may remind them
of a bad experience somewhere in their past.  It's not personal.  Let it go and move on.

Common sense on this one dude. You do not have to break out your three piece suit, but you also do not go in a pair of sweat pants and undershirt tee. I was doing all my mongering while on vacation in the summer so I was dressing in shorts, decent tee shirts or polo shirts, and sneakers. Hey, I am on vacation so I leave the work clothes at home.

In terms of your age, act like you have been there before. The WG have a lot more experience than you so I think most of them can sense your nervousness and may handle you softly or harder just to mess with you for a bit of fun. In the end, you are an independent adult that has decided to take part in the world of mongering. Take ownership of what you expect and want to do. The more you do it the move you will free the groove.
