hope that has nothing to do w/ the notion that some guys have of never getting w/ a female of celeb status, DArt. i have a buddy who always argues w/ me on the beauty of girls b/c he says he would ne ...
At one level yes - I freely admit it's taken me a few years to learn to be as dominant with a "10" as they like. I was a nerdy late starter and a wuss for a long time, but my views today are not coming from teenage angst.
Look at it a bit deeper: any girl who is a celebrity is by definition High Maintenance. Doesn't mean I can't get her. Doesn't mean she's not a nice girl. But I am lazy, and prefer to score a runner-up than a winner. Hell, what do you expect from someone who's a King on a forum for punters???? If I meet a celeb, of course I'll talk to her, but I'm not going to spend any more time energy and money going out of my way trying to score her than I would on a girl who's not a celebrity.
That may seem odd, but there's a parallel in competitive sports. We all know the top athletes have coaches - and may assume coaches pick (or are picked by) the most talented athletes. Not so. Actually coaches tend to be wary of top talent, and instead choose to work with athletes on the basis of how disciplined they are at training. Often the top talent has developed a habit of winning without training, and that's hard to break. Sooner or later a second-rate talent who trains hard will beat them - and will have developed a habit of learning that carries them on to higher and higher performance.
In my real life (not in my fantasies) that's what I look for - a girl who has to work a bit to look stunning, who knows she can lose out if she doesn't.
... so if you know a celeb like that, introduce me
As I said, I just don't lose sleep over girls I'm not already meeting! I'm no snob, and if I'm having a good time and intelligent mutually-caring company with a girl who rocks my little brain, I'm taken.
