Kowloon tong love hotels
I hadn't seen a write up on Kowloon tong hotels, so I thought I'd share experiences.
So far it has been awesome. Hotel wise I've been to kent hotel and boutique hotelin kowloon tong.
Before I used either hotel I spent a lunch hour scoping out the area. Found it easy enough from the MTR, botique hotel is a minute walk from the mtr and taxi stand.
I went for a search of kent hotel which is 20 kent road and after arriving via mtr I was a bit lost so I took a taxi and the guy knew almost no English, so had to talk into his walkie talkie and he was frustrated already. After screaming the address across the airwaves 3 times they finally came to realize I'm a deviant and the operator explained the address and now the old taxi guy was doubly pissed and frustrated.
Pissed that the place was a few blocks away and that he has to drive some sexual deviant to this place in broad daylight. He moaned to himself a few times until he reachedthe destination. I had no idea where he dropped me off but he kept motioning me toget out, e guy was nervous and wanted get me the fuck out of the car. I was trying to give him correct change and he was like, "fuck it! Whatever, just give some cash and let me get the fuck outta here!"
First time in over a year in HK that a taxi was ready to round down his fare instead of rounding up.
He wanted me outta that car like I was walking into the drug bust of the century and there were agents surrounding the place. He took off like a madman.
I had to walk half a block before I realized he stopped several addresses ahead of the hotel.
Kent is ok, outside is nothing to look at and the room they showed me was pretty big, the place was a bit worn overall, but the room was ok, bright red carpet with mirrors and stuff kinda weird but ok.
That night all rooms were booked except for 1 and it wasn't the bright red carpet one with the mirrors. That room was about $600 for the night, while this other room was $450 for the night.
It was an ok room, better than Beverley, bigger than Vic but a bit worn.
The next night the HK taxi didn't know the 20 Kent rd location, so I told him to drop me off at the MTR coz the mtr was barely a 3 minute walk. But I was disoriented getting dropped off at a different exit looking for that tiny road called kent and remember I walked into boutique hotel but didn't see their rooms coz they were booked.
So decided to give It a try, and besides the eclectic design and a bit of clutter of all the stuff in the room, it was by far the best love hotel I ever stayed in. More spacious than Vic, nicer, and felt almost like a hotel u might stay in with a GF vs a quickie as sexually unsavory deviants.
Big bathroom, with huge tub and separate deluxe shower stall. Only negative is the honeymoon style bathroom with nothing separating u from the bed but a thin curtain which does nothing. That's a bit embarrassing.
The cost for one night was 500 something plus They ask for a 100 deposit which u get back.
Both places had hourly rates but both times I wanted overnight prices.
I would definitely go there again.
One thing that's fucked up about Kowloon tong is all these expensive looking private primary schools and nestled in between are love hotels, how the fuck does that happen?
Kowloon tong is far but in the middle of the night it takes no time at all. Seems. Like the rooms fill up fast, that's seems to be the only negative, and the rooms are cateredto locals, no much English, but doesn't, matter much.
I'm a fan of botique hotel, I would go again, but the rooms aren't sound proof, so that's one thing to realize.
You can also park ur car there and they will put a rolling shield in front of ur license plate to respect your privacy.
The hotel name is different than the love hotel list, I will look it up.
