US Job with (SE)Asia Travel?

Wondering if anyone would be willing to share - do you live/work in the US but travel to Asia (south east preferably) for work (regularly)? Would you be willing to share what you do, who you work for? I'm considering looking for a new job and one thing I'd like is more Asia travel....

Please PM me if you don't feel comfortable posting in public.

Thank you in advance!

Most jobs require certain skillsets and experience. It might be easier to suggest options for you if we knew some of yours. You know... Other than mounting. Lol

I work in television specifically as a designer. I do alot of motion graphics work and specifically 3D and special effects. I do mostly commercial work and often have to go to Thailand and China for product shoots etc.

Self-employed.

Came to HK for the first time 5 years ago. Found this site before my trip and was already punting in the USA so I was excited to try the WC bar scene.

I had zero clients in Asia at the time and attended a conference to check the landscape. After WC I decided I needed to do more work here.

12 months later 30% of my business was in Asia.

I suggest you find a way to make money with your listed expertise and bust your ass to build a brand. Then you can work when and where you want.

I think that with your experience, you should be able to find something in your field without too much difficulty. I hardly think you want to go from what you do, to what I do. Too much of a downgrade methinks. Haha. I don't get to go to ask regularly either. Just once in a while.

Medical technology/pharmaceutical/regulatory field, one or two trips a year to Asia.  Wish it was more.
This is a niche market, so too much to train for to make it worthwhile.  I think you are in a much more flexible profession, allows more more punting opportunities!
