My work takes me to all kinds of random places in China, normally outside the usual Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Because there's not a high number of posts on second and third-tier cities, I tend to rely on Chinese posts from various other forums. Wondering what the policy is here for translating these sometimes valuable posts into English for punting guidance in far-flung places. There is hardly any available here that I can find through the search function, so I'm guessing there's a rule against them, but thought there'd be no harm in asking. I was thinking of limiting the translations to within a year so that its relevant (I would normally disregard old posts anyway), and only posts of decent quality. We've had discussions on such proposal in the past and I believe that the main problem with such translation is that there is no general assurance as to its accuracy/veracity as the translator is NOT the one to experience such.  And of course then NOT able to answer any questions etc. Tell you what, why don't you read those reports, go and do "it" and then report back to us your first hand experience. I find it's a great idea, I like actions in small cities, far from mainstream But as it is second-hand information, and as maybe it's not really interesting to know how those Chinese guys fucked their girls, I would suggest to have information summary instead of full translation. Maybe it would be good to have a template, with only straight-to-the-point information : 1/ Location : How to get there, booking process 2/ Business info : Opening time, packages and price 3/ Info on Girl tried : Services offered, ratings and personal comments Though I am not 100% fluent, I would be glad to help
