Even with her messaging your burner number, i'm not sure you're out of the woods. Freelancer or not i've found women can be very vicious and petty. IF she finds out that your original number is still active she could still cause problems.

Bottom line is she has some information on you and hence a hold on you which can be used against you for whatever reason. You'll never be able to totally get free and might never be able to shake that feeling. However if she does not know your name or any other info, even if she keeps texting you, you could always tell the SO you were receiving these messages and that person won't stop (as someone else already mentioned).

Still best thing to do is to get rid of that phone. I know it is a hassle but I'm sure you'd rather be safe permanently.
Now of course there is another more drastic way. Set up an appointment with the WG, go see her and find a way to access her phone. Find your number and then delete it or arrange for an "accident" with the phone. No muss no fuss but yeah that's a tad bit 007 if you can pull it off.

Just be straight off (even in a mean way) that you are not interested. And of course, start all future calls for this stuff from your new number.

Why u not call her and ask if she can borrow u some money.

Or u lost ur job, so 10.000 Hongkong Dollar would help, to pay ur rent and start again.

If it was me, I would probably send her a text pretending to be your SO, and asking who is this texting my boyfriends phone? and ask does she know you? and are they aware you have a family. Maybe it would be a way of scaring her off, though there is a risk that she may not care. I know it happened to me once and it did the trick, as I suggested meeting her, still pretending to be my SO to sort it out. however I always have my personal phone password locked and change passwords often.
I did once get a text while I was with my SO, and just turned to her and said I've just got a text from someone called Kerry (She signed her message), haven't got a clue who she is, do you think I should text back letting her know she has the wrong number? Sounded plausible at the time and she seemed to buy it, must happen sometimes!
However I get to the point sometimes where even I cannot separate the truth from fiction.

This is a humorous post! Could you imagine turning the tables on her, and repeatedly texting her for money? If that's not a way for her to wish there was no contact, I can't think of one.

Actually you could have something there, if all bros had her number and we all sent texts at around the same time her phone may just explode. Maybe we should set up some kind of protection club, so if a member is in a tight spot we can come to their aid.
We could give ourselves a cool name like: "Circle Of Carnal Knights" or COCKS for short   Any takers let me know. If we do and we can claim to be knights I bagsy the name Lancelot!

I love the idea of borrowing money. Best defense is attack! If you do that she wil freak out! Maybe you should talk of an old uncle in manilla that needs surgery.... Or maybe talk about your mom who died for the 3rd time, poor her! .... Oups sorry heard that story before!
Bottom line is you may not be able to completely get rid of her so telling the so you have a crazy person sms ing you should work, but this is a 1 shot solution, no repeat accepted!
