Beijing Club costs $400 on Fri/Sat.
Thurs/Tues should be $350.

These are prices that include 1 or 2 drinks.

On Fri/Sat, it's pretty much a sausage-fest, and they let far too many people in the club. Much better on Thur/Tues when ladies can drink all-night, not so on the weekends. You can find when girls move onto the dancefloor, immediately you'll get maybe 5-8 guys move and surround them straightaway. The most aggressive I've seen in any club anywhere - and I've clubbed in many places Asia, Europe etc. And THE most crowded club I've ever been in. The upper floor is just for chilling, there's only 1 dancefloor.

Btw, I did the see the movie - I loved it. If only it was like that in real life - but in real life there's (or it seems to be) 4-5 guys to each girl at weekends.

Because it actually is garbage... I mean the idea of making a movie out of LKF initially made me lmao

I'm really glad most of you took time and watch LKF the movie and liked it, of course that screen shot of mine surely entice everyone.
I'll share again if i discover some more HK movies about nightlife and WGs.

Been to LKF few times, in my opinion the girls are hot there but I dunno if they are Wg or not, if not I think all of them intend to search for foreigner a.k.a caucasian, but again this is just my opinion.

Are these girls all over the streets or inside the bars in LKF?
Btw, do they come in groups or just alone for some fun and meet up with strangers?

I agree that its fictional but garbage? there are alot of eye candies in that movie. I would watch that movie just to pump me up for a trip to HK any time.

It may seem to be fictional but somehow i still believe certain situations or drama in the movies we watched do happen in real life.

Man HK club life is even a fraction of what the movie shows it to be, it kicks the shit out of the club scene in Vancouver....

I only understand canto and not mando and watched the movie with no subtitles and i was wondering if there was any logical reason to cast a mando speaking main character when everyone else speaks canto   i guess for must people its not a big deal but it stuck out to me haha

LKF has it's fair share of ONS's on offer but you could have 20 nights of nothing, and then it happens, it's pretty unpredictable. These clubs like Beijing and Billions - man, it's such a sausage-fest pretty much Thurs through to Sat that it's q difficult. Surprisingly, the guys at HK clubs are the most aggressive ive seen in any country.
SO, it's a challenge.

hong kong cinema in general is quite garbage. But the movie did make me want to go LGF later this month when i'm in town, didn't quite have time to check it out last year.

that what i was thinking too. why did they casted that mandarin boy for??! ruined the whole movie. Its like they couldn't go out there and find an average looking boy in HK who knows how to act or something.

Just finished the movie. Damn, no nude pics, no topless, no naked ass, etc... As typical of HK movie editing, the scenes are cuts from several places spliced into one scene. There are scenes of Beijing Club, Billion, and Shake Shake clubs.


In a way the movie is quite accurate of the crowds who get a table. If you want to get the type of girls you see in the movie, you have to get a table and buy a lot of alcohol. Many of the tables are reserved by regulars who also bring or call up their favourite posse of girls, girls who don't seem to have the usual daytime jobs, to give the table a great vibe of fun mixed crowd of hot girls and sharp guys.

Sometimes I would see a table full of guys who are not familiar with that particular club. In this situation, the table will send one or two guys into the crowd to snag girls to come sit with them to build up that vibe of a fun table. When it is crowded and one is tired, an offer to sit down and drink is a very attractive offer.

As many of those type of girls are looking for free drinks, you cannot act offended (it is bad form) if she takes her drink and walks off back into the dance floor. You can only hope that she will return after she had already scoped out all the other tables (eligible guys) and returns to you because you are the 'coolest' crowd.

I generally stay away from those girls that you see in the movie as many of them in the Beijing Club and Billion are part of a table posse. They usually 'belong' to the big shot of the table. Some of those big shots are engaged in dodgy activities/or of the jealous types and I don't want to get on the bad side by getting to close with their chicks. Or if they don't belong to a table posse, I can sense they are gold diggers looking to join a table posse.

If you go to Beijing on Tues/Thurs there are more than enough cute, more down to earth girls in the dance floor or standing around the bar for you to attempt to pick up. If you have to go on Fri/Sat, then you will have to be super confident to snag a girl there, it is possible, but hard work with the crappy ratio of guys vs girls.

Once you get a girl to begin chatting/dancing with you, try not to leave her alone unless you are confident she will wait for you as there are always 10 guys (some I know as buds) waiting nearby for a chance to chat her up too.   I advise you bring a trusted wingman just to keep her engaged whenever you go to the toilet.

Finally i was able to check out LKF on a monday night Dec 5 2011 around 10pm after i toured the bars in Wan Chai.
Dont know if its still early but not too many people there except Hard Rock Cafe w/c was packed. I stayed there for nearly an hour looking at the scenes, taking pictures and waiting for some hotties to march up the street but didnt got the chance to see anyone of them. There were also lots of foreigners taking pictures on the narrow streets of LKF.

Monday night? You should have gone to Beijing Club for a drink or two after 11pm as ladies do get free drink or two on Mondays. The few times I ventured there on Mondays, we met Korean girls who were visiting HK.

Just finished watching this movie, man was it garbage. Hong Kong films are so poor, story are always terrible, editing crap. If it wasn't for the girls, I wouldn't have mad it through the film. I also agree with others, why the hell does the main character speak half ass cantonese and then mandarin. Would of been better of just speaking mando. It makes me question how these actors, directors, editors get hired.

I'll try those adventures the next time around. I just cant do it all since its just a short trip so i kinda scanned these places just for knowledge of how it looked and what to expect.
I even strolled the Bars around Wan Chai and met lots of Filipinas inviting me to go inside the bar and have drinks. I also saw many foreingners drinking and dancing there.
