This is perhaps something that's been discussed before, but I'm curious about how much the girls make.
About 2 months ago, Emily at SKM in Wanchai told me she makes about $40K a month, which I think is a lot.  She's not one of the most popular girls there, and she's free whenever I call her which is in the afternoon.  She's always complaining that business is bad.
Then, a few months before that, I was with Lilly the blowmaster in Kowloon.  I made some quick calculations that she's rolling in dough with the back-to-back bookings she takes.  Lilly lives alone in a small apt, so her monthly savings are far higher than those of a guy like me who supports a whole bunch of people.  She says she's going into business, which I can certainly believe.
Then there's Christine a Fuji who says that she'd buy an apartment (in HK!) if the market conditions were a bit better.  She once told me how much she was putting in the stockmakrket and it blew me away.  She once went for 20 lots of HSBCs in one trade, I think that's back when there were 1000 to an HSBC lot.  To the stockbrokers out there: try a sales pitch for your favorite stock (or derivatives) while you fuck!
Anyways, if the 141 girls make that much, it's no wonder that a bldg like SKM in Wanchai is getting filled up with whores. They can pay the best rent for sure.  And it's no wonder that there are some low lifers who mug these defenseles women in their room.
What's the average income of a reasonably popular 141 girl? 50K?   How about a massage girl at an extra-service sauna who's got regular customers?  How about the girls at K-Pressure? They make good money too?

First of all I don't think Christine was buying HSBC shairs when it was at 1000shares/block ! she's not that old !  

second, you need to do more investigative reporting ... find out if all the money goes back to the girl ...

third, work on the assumption that most WGs will have a gross income of at least 20K/month

I was just out for an errand and I gave some thoughts to some estimates.  

Highly popular 141 girl
$10K in expenses on rent, advertising, condoms,etc.
7 customers per day at 500 each.
20-25 days work days/month
$70K/mo.

Regular 141 girl
$40K (As mentioned earlier, Emily told me).

GFS girl with some regular customers:
I estimate she gets $350 per “3 zhong”, 20-25 days/month, 4 clients per day:  $32K.

Girl at FS sauna that charges $1000
$500 for the house, $500 for the girl, 3 times/day, 20-25 days/mo:  $35,000.

K pressure (I’m purely guessing here, i only went once and then read the posts):
Girl gets $200/client, 4 times per days, 20-25days/mo: $19,000.

Seems about right?

Twice a Week:  wasn't it only 3-4 years ago that HSBC went from 1000 shares/lot to 400?  Christine told me the figures and I don't remember the numbers exactly, but it was a bucketload of HSBC shares she was trading. It blew me away.

One of the Korean girls told me she used to get at least 10-12 customers per day. At $1,200/punt, that's at least $12k per day. But she has to give half of that to the agent. So $6k per day.

She was here for 14 days - so that's $84k in a short stay if she regularly made 10-12 per day.

Sir you mean these agents take half of the WG's income?
How about food and lodging?
Do these WGs have to shed out for themselves or its already inclusive in the 50% cut they pay their agents?

For sure some of them earn a lot of money, but I feel they deserve every penny, sometimes I feel really sorry for them especially when they do double figures of men a day.

TBH its like footballers and baseball/basketball stars.

They get paid A hell of a lot of money. But their careers are VERY short and as time goes on income dries up.

Early 30s is pretty much the limit, at which their regulars probably go and see younger WGs and the income dries up considerably.

Two cases.

Cat of TST, retired or not advertising these days. She was pretty popular a few years ago when she was in Champs A. There were small 3-4 guy queues outside her place. Then she moved somewhere cheaper. Last visit (unreported, I splash and dash these days passing through Hong Kong on long stop overs, meh I've seen the airport express more times than I'd like). She had a lot of entertainment equipment to keep busy simply because she didnt have the turn over like before.

Legendary Happy as well, when I took Paka there, she had major queue of guys waiting in the corridors wham bam and get lost I've got moar customers. Heavy turn over. Then she moved to TST smaller queues.... and didn't mind me staying and chatting to her for a long time as nobody turned up on the cameras.


THEN you have to think that many of them don't exactly have a lot of skills outside of being a WG. And it is a crippling overspecialisation. That 80K you make month in month out has got to last you the rest of your life. And inflation eats 10% of that year in year out.

Part of me doesn't want to talk about WGs' income because it's none of our business but also I don't want any WG to potentially be robbed by a loser who knows how much cash there is.  In Canada every now and then girls do get robbed, beaten or sexually assaulted by guys who are there to steal cash.  For what it's worth though, I know of one very popular WG who makes ~$10,000 HKD in two days.  I know this because once she showed me a new LV purse she bought that still had the price tag on it and said it took two days to save up for it.

Now before anyone says anything about WGs not paying taxes and raking in the cash, remember that this job is stressful on their bodies with a lot of potential threats should they ever get just one bad client.  Secondly, as Kennichi said this sort of job can be short lived depending on the country.  In Hong Kong generally most WGs don't stay past their early 30s because local guys don't want that, but in Canada that same WG can go into her 50s and there's still demand.  Third, obviously this sort of job isn't something that a person can put on their resume or CV.  The money made working in the business has to last for quite a good number of years and later on trying to get a legit job while trying to explain why they have no work experience between the ages of 21 to 29 is difficult.

They don't pay taxes!!!
Isn't that illegal, as a stand up law abiding citizen, who has the highest of moral standards, I am appalled at this revelation.
I am seriously considering spending more time with my SO, and less frequenting these tax dodging citizens.

The money these girls make are now a fraction of what they use to make pre 1997. A popular girl in a night club could make HKD350k easily a month. On a good month that can jump to HKD500k. A semi FS sauna girl on average would make HKD120k a month.

So the numbers you calculated probably isnt that wrong - I dont know as I no longer monger.

I can tell you which night club and which sauna but they both now have closed.

These WGs may be earning lots of cash everyday but if they are bread winners in their family then i dont think they can save much.

In general, I would say it's the same in China for employment.  I don't know about HK but in China, if you are over 40, it is extremely hard to get good jobs.  Age discrimination is heavy in China's job market.  People only want to hire young people in China.  So for a working girls over 40, without skills set, are in the same boat with other workers. Skill sets like working in sales and restaurants.

She would be smart if she could save most of it for later in life. I believe most spend it quickly after earning. They spend it oN goods life like new phones and clothing. I forgot, the majority is SENT to family back home to support. After that, it doesn't leave much money left.

Korean KTV girls in HK can earn about HK$100K a month.
And they only need to fuck 1 customer per day.

IMHO they work because it makes them #1 bread winner and so have many family obligations to take care of. Nice to know though that punting helps so many people....helps families in need

That WG's - like most of us - are also only salesmen!

They've to also market/sell their own bodies - and it all depends on how good her marketing strategy/salesmanship is that determines her earning power.

First, she's got to be sure that she's got a GREAT product, then determine how to best sell it for what it is.  Whether to pitch herself hi-end/Lo-end, Mass or boutique, which/where target market, how she's gonna capitalize her marketing budget (Pimp, independent, human trafficker, HG/WG etc), budget her time, (how long on the job, time and motion study when she's on the job,) capital re-investment (make-up,hair-do, lingerie), etc etc etc.

So.....it all depends on how smart she is and if she looks upon it all as a real job or NOT.

Industries like F&B and education are recession-proof. Well, poor or rich...all men needs to fuck. So I think this industry should be recession-proof. So what say all the experts out there?

If you state 1,000 anecdotes of some gal's income and you'll hear 1,000 opposing anecdotes.

It is not much different to trying "average" Salespeople's income ---  it is impossible!  the range is too huge in so many ways to reach a single number.  A floor-salesperson in WingOn likely earns shit.  A dude who sells A380's to Singapore Airlines makes $500,000USD or more (on a good year).   And the range explores the entire ground in-between and over and under.  

Depends on the product, the market, her savvy, her connections, her desperation, her knowledge, her opportunities available....

There is NO "meaningful" average of all WGs.  If you wish to focus on specifically 141 Walkup gals, well --- this is definitely easier to get a meaningful number, but it is just a tiny fraction of the types and modes of prostitution.  

A truth, I believe, is that many, many barely get by after paying travel/agents/accommodations ---   while many, many others earn a shitload of cash!  Just too variable....
