I am trying to plan my one day trip for tomorrow as an early xmas present but I just can't think clearly (too much choice and a bit overwhelmed).

I plan to visit two places, I am going to head off around lunchtime afternoon and arrive 2-3pm as I do not want to be there too early, and then head home by around 10-11pm.

First place I want a chill out place, good sauna, shower, tv etc. The second place I would prefer where I can stay in a nice comfortable room after choosing a lady or two. I have saved up about 5k for this day trip.

Also am I allowed to ask for pen and paper, I dont think I will be able to focus on the numbers haha

So it gona be a 6 hrs stay in Macau.
So far i can only recommend you Sanado Spa. From the ferry terminal as you make ur exit, go towards your left side.
Look for the FREE Shuttle bus of MetroPark Hotel. Take the free ride to the hotel and from MetroPark just walk across the street and you'll see a 711 convenient store, beside is the SANADO SPA.
At Sanado you pay the 1459 hk$ package and you can eat all you can for free, stay for 24 hrs (u can go out for a while but should be back w/in 2hrs or they'll charge you again), you can shower, rest and watch tv, borrow a laptop for internet, enjoy the showtime with various girls, choose a girl for a 60 minute service w/ happy ending, and request for a bed if you wana sleep.
Look for the lady supervisor named Lanie. She's a Filipina that speaks good english.

You said you wanted a chill out place first....I don't think D1 fits the bill.  I also recommend Sanado for your first stop, then head to D1.  Plus there is a discount at Sanado if you are out early.  Sorry my mind went blank.  I want to say it is 7pm, but it might be 5pm, but in either case you should be done in time.

D1 is just a 5-10 min walk from the Ferry. From the ferry terminal exit walk towrads the left and just go straight ahead walk up the footbridge towards the Oceanus Casino and in front is the Jai Alai Hotel where D1 is based.

D1, as i know, is a punt and go whorehouse so you dont get the luxury of  the 24 hrs stay, free food and drinks, relaxing in the lounge, showtime with the girls, free use of wifi which the Sanado offers at a very reasonable price.

Actually staying overnight at the Sanado is best when you dont book a hotel.
If you insist to try both, may i suggest that you head to D1 first in the late afternoon around 5-6pm.

Take a good 90 minutes punt, then go back to the ferry terminal, take the MetroPark shuttle and off to Sanado for rest, dinner (free Food and Drinks eat all you want), RECHARGE and enjoy the showtime with the girls (show usually begins 5-6pm and every 2 hours till 3am), then have another punt with a PRC girl, sleep and leave 8-9am in the morning the next day after breakfast.
Its very convenient as you just walk across Sanado to the Metropark Hotel and take again their FREE Shuttle goin back to the ferry. ( Just take note what time ist the earliest shuttle ride from the Metropark goin to the ferry terminal. if i'm not mistaken, its 8:30am)
Its the most economical way to avoid spending on food and taxis.
That way you can be fully relaxed without time pressure and maximize your side trip to Macau.

Ok well heres my two cents.

Sanado is a pretty good place if you have never been to a sauna before.  As Cosney said on his first Sauna visit "this place is kind of surreal".  They are just Bizarre but just sit back and go with the flow!  Sanado has 2 specials...one is about 898 before 5pm.  Im not sure if you get to choose the girl (I think you do) but im pretty sure its a 45 min session.   Then there is the "before 7" special...1498 for a 45 min massage, a 1 hour session, and an oil massage.   Not a bad deal but you have to be out the door before 7.  BUT, seeing as you have 5k at your disposal, you might just opt for a normal package and not feel rushed or under pressure to choose a girl quickly!

D1...well the service is GREAT.   But, after your session they kick you out.  For real.  You get walked to the elevator and basically pushed out the door.  So maybe you should go here first and havea  good session, then leave straight after and go chill out in a sauna.  

If you want luxury, go to Rio spa.  If you want a HUGE choice of girls, go to 18 (although its rennovations make it a fairly poor choice at the moment).  If you want some fun, go to golden sauna.  I wrote a nice big compilation of all the palces I went to in Macau over in the Macau section (which you have probably read).

Also..."am I allowed to ask for pen and paper".  Yes...yes you are the boss.  You can do almost whatever you want in these places, that is the point!  

Now make sure you come over to the Macau section and leave me a nice report after you are done!

In case you made a typo, my understading is that the 5pm special is 998 not 898. Was there 2 days ago and charged that.

But if OP has a budget of 5K I suggest you don't try to sweat the small stuff.

All this talk of sleeping overnight and what time the shuttle starts in the morning, but the OP wants to leave by 10-11pm.

Seems like we all agree though that for his chill session he should go to Sanado, whether it is first or last.  After Freshmans comments I can say that the special I was referring to is the 7pm version.  It is important to understand that you must be finished and at least making your way towards the exit by 7pm.  I arrived at like 4:30 and thought I could get the 5pm special, but could not.  And extras are not cheap at Sanado, although they are plentiful.  On top of the standard 1498 for the 7pm special I had a thigh massage with HE.  My total was over 2K HKD.

Thigh massage in sanado are more expensive than rio. Thats because they take you to a room and if you purchase 2 sessions they finish u up.

Just an update to all those bro who contributed, I didnt go in the end.   I just felt a one day trip would not serve macau justice, the more I read up on it, the more I felt its like one massive adult disneyland. I decided to postpone till Feb when my Japanese colleague comes over as hes gonna be here in HK for 2 weeks with company amex

From my research, I was planning to goto D1, then 18 - Casino - then Sanado before going home.

I plan to visit Macau really soon too. Can you please explain more about the whole $1-2k package? So it's like a 24 hour package that lets you do anything you want during that time? What kind of services do the girls provide?

If you mean at the SANADO, you pay the 1459 HK$ package. You'll be escorted to the lockers to keep your valuables things, shoes, pants and shirts. Afterwards you'll be asked to head to the showers and choose a girl w/c will scrub you and give a complimentary 20 sec BBBJ on the shower room.
After the shower, you'll get dried up and given a rob and shorts to wear then escorted to the lounge area to rest, watch tv , you can oredr food and drinks on the menu that are free, enjoy the showtime with the girls then choose 1 of the girls for service with Happy Ending.
You can stay for 24 hrs and upon request you can sleep on a bed. There's also an internet lounge or you can just borrow a laptop and use the free internet at the lounge.
Side services are also offered but thats for extra charge on top of the 1459 package you will get.

I know it's passed the 19th and just want to inform others if you are coming from China on a weekend, it took us over 3 hours from Zhuhai to Macau. We started lining up at the China boarder at 9:10am.  We didn't get out  passed Macau immigration until about 12:15pm. It was on a Sunday morning. It seems like a bad time because of all the tour groups going into Macau on weekend.

its a complimentary BBBJ and i just assume it was about 20 sec. it was fast any way. I dont think you'll cum that fast he he.

Showtime is when they call out all the girls to the lounge area and the girls gave you samples like ear licking, nipple licking, breast mashing, pussy grinding and HJ so basically you'll get samples from 5-6 different girls.

anyone heard about buying packages from the HK Ferry Terminal? Apparently they have packages at least for D1, not sure for Sanado, which include the boat's fee and is also cheaper than what you would pay at the door in D1. But I'm not sure if they have this for Sanado, and how they might compare to the before Xpm specials.

The answer is yes.  All the big saunas including Sanado work with the Shun Tak agency on the HK side.

Well, we all have our own active territories / preference of activities, so Macau is somewhere that I'm definitely not quite familiar with. How about my second question, what are the Shun Tak prices like compared with the at the door prices, for the early bird specials?
