Some anecdotal but curious stats:

I have been mongering (heavily) in HK for about 4 years - probably with about 200 different girls or thereabouts (maybe more - hard to count) though only 50 could be called "regulars" while the rest were one-time or two-time visits.

In that time:

Of the 50 regulars (mostly bargirls, but a few were sauna girls):

- 6 regulars (that I know of - maybe more) got engaged or married and taken off the market (mostly - they still "play", but don't "work"). (11%).

- another 25 vanished from the HK scene to go back home for good (ie:  not just a regular visa-run).  A few made the cash they wanted and exited, the others left, it seems, with little more than when they first started.  (50% exit-rate within this four-year window).

- the other 20 still bounce back'n'forth as their visa's permit or live in HK permanently and are still working.

- the average age (for my specific gals) is about 27or 28.  I'm older, so more comfortable with a slightly older gal.  I'll save the 20-year-olds to you other Bros.

- more than half  had a kid back home.  Probably about 60% of them.  Wow, this is higher than I would have thought.

- Of the 50 regulars, I think EVERY single one offered bareback at some point.  That is a scary thought!  And I ended up doing BB with too many (the heat of the moment, we're in BF/GF mode, drunk and comfortable together). Excuses, excuses...  Don't do it Bros!!  Frickn stupid.  

- about half had some kind of run-in with LE in HK.  A bar raid being the most common.

- I recall about 5 to 10 stories of really bad clients (who hurt them, or stole from them).  The vast majority said almost all their clients have been polite and respectful.  Cool.

- almost all said their agent (if they had one, and many didn't)  was decent, helpful, and supportive.  Only a few (2 or 3) complained about a "crooked" agent or felt cheated or tricked by one.

I am not sure how indicative my stats are, or whether they can be extrapolated to the overall HK WG scene.  But it was a curious exercise to think about.

So 200 different girls in 4 years eh...

That's 4*365=1460...  1460/200=7.3days

That's one new girl every 7.3 days or one new girl per week!  Impressive to maintain that pace for soooo long.

Well, no actual "record taking" - just my memory, which we all know is rather weak.  Still, this sounds about right.  I've punted twice-a-week or more pretty much consistently since I got here  - but usually with regulars, so even though I punted far more than 200 times, the actual number of NEW gals is about right.

So far in Jan I have seen 2 new gals - so the math about works.  I've slowed down "hunting" new gals somewhat, but early on I was a maniac!  (9 in one week once!  Shite, I was TIRED after that).  But.., you must go hunting from time to time:  regulars go home on a visa run, or quit and vanish..., so the team does need new blood on a regular basis.  

Hmmm, this is just in HK!  If I try to guess the number of gals over my lifetime.... Damn, I am sure I have broken that mythical number of a 1,000 girls.  Man, I AM a slut!

interesting observations, wander. the stats-breakdown is intriguing...but for more insight, cd be interesting to break it down by nationality, not that i'm anticipating you'll do that! it's already comprehensive.

what i find interesting is the feedback on HK agents. this has been my observation too: HK agents in general get few complaints. maybe it's because WGs here are more realistic, i dunno.

contrast it with Thailand, where the girls are always complaining about something: other girls, MMSs, bar-owners, other customers, entire nationalities...how often do u hear a Thai bargirl say "Thai men no good"? it's what they figure u WANT to hear. 90% of them have Thai boyfriends or husbands.

i've heard complaints about HK agents--from TGs working HK Island East. but in general, it seems there's a reasonable balance here. yes, u will get gals trying to add charges or other bad service/shoddy practices, and occasionally an Evil Punter (and those guys will reincarnate as cat-intestine-bacteria). but it's generally pretty civilized.

considering that 141-activity is spread across the territory, this is impressive. in Mongkok the other nite, i saw tourists/locals shopping/enjoying cheek-by-jowl with short-time hotels and discreet buildings filled with 141-walkups. guys are trying to enjoy themselves and ease the tension of working in an intense, busy city. what's the harm? still, it's nice to bring small gifts and treat the girls well.

they deserve it.

Haha.  I gotta say, though, my record keeping is shite!  So, keep such info in perspective.  

I will say, however, that I do what I want to do.  Life is short.  Live it up..., because a day will come when you say "Why didn't I?".

Wow, I'm surprised. With your level of knowledge and experience you'd go there, even with a regular girl. Especially as active as you are... No judgement, but...  Even your regulars do stupid stuff when you're not around.

I'll do bbbj and dfk, even though it's a risk, but that many girls in that period of time, I'd think you'd be as hardcore about safety as they are...

But your call I guess.

I don't do it on purpose...., but it happens.  In my experience the gals from SEAsia are very quick to go without doms.  I have had to stop them (regulars)  often from jumping on top after a BBBJ without capping me first.

Anyway....  Excuses-excuses.  It is never a good idea.
