There used to be a really helpful thread that listed how to reach 37D by taking MTR and then walking a couple of minutes. A little more than a year ago I was able to start mongering by visiting 37D using that info without any trouble even though I was visiting HK for the first time!!! I can't find it anymore. also all my searches for any directions didn't yield anything. For a foreigner like me looking at the address in Google Maps doesn't give enough confidence of reaching at the intended location all by myself. I don't feel comfortable in taking a taxi to visit these locations so MTR + walking is my mode of travel.

So can someone please tell me how to reach 37D after getting off at Ya Ma Tei? Please include important landmarks that I would see on the way. Kindly do it for 8MK and KP(with appropriate nearby MTR stations) as this time I want to try some new places as well

I wasn't able to find the original posts with detailed 8MK directions but I'll write below the 8MK notes I had copied down from other members postings:

Directions to 8MK

Take MTR to Mong Kok Station, exit B3 (A1 and A2 are close also) … cross Nathan Road (you will be heading west).
Cross to the north side of Mong Kok Road, 8MK is 1.5 blocks west of Nathan road on the north side (Just look for the massive PLC lighting sign).
You will see a white sign with blue lettering, everything in Chinese except for the number “8”. Go to the end of the corridor, the stairs are on the left
Go up to the 3rd floor, you will see a fluorescent yellow sign with more Chinese and the number “8” … take a left
and then another left, you will be standing in papa’s office. See photo’s below

The pricing at 8MK is 360 for 45 minutes. I bought 2 blocks of time for 720 (1.5 hr.) ... gave a tip of 160, for a total damage of 880
They speak quite good English.
The doorway under the small white sign that has the number 8 in it. Follow the bright yellow signs upstairs, and a papa will come meet you from the staircase. They are watching you from monitors.

You are lead to a small office. Either ask for a specific girl from the guy behind the counter, or they can bring girls for you to view and choose from
You then go with the girl to a room to have the session, and afterwards you come back to the office to pay the guy. Tip the girl separately in the room, if you think it's worth it.
Sometimes they can take you to sit and wait in some small room in the beginning, but you can also wait on the office couch.

Just a slight addendum. The large PLC sign is a thing of the past, but the small sign with the "8" located above the doorway is still there.

I think I'm going to try kp next time I'm in hk but the pics of 8MK esp the hallway entrance gives me the creeps like i can get mugged there! Lol

I doubt you could find a safer city than Hong Kong. I'm not saying that it isn't possible to find yourself in troubling circumstances here, but it is more unlikely than in most cities in the world. If you keep your eyes open and your wits about you, you are extremely unlikely to encounter any problems. These places are at least as interested as you in avoiding any encounters with the law.

I have tramped through some pretty grotty buildings in search of both tail and Indian food. You are eminently safe in HK, even in places that common sense would dictate you avoid, like stairwells.

The biggest hazard in HK is maybe getting pick pocketed in a crowded street market.

Once going up a stairwell in chungking mansions I saw used syringes on the floor. Not sure what would have happened if I came across the user.

some years ago before the handover some triads broke into a gwailo chick's apartment in wanchai and beat her up, sending her to the hospital. It was reported however that she had started a high end prostitution business sending WGs to hotels, in direct competition of a triad group doing the same thing. I don't think any of us here are about to set up our own business, although with all the experience we have amongst us no doubt we could run a successful venture.

Completely agree. Hong Kong is one of the most(if not THE most) safe large cities in the world. I've been here for a long time and all over the city and not once have I ever felt not safe here. Not too many cities in the world you could stagger drunkenly down side streets at 4AM and not have to be worried about getting mugged, beaten up and robbed

I agree with all of u in regards to the safety issue, I did walk the street going to 37D at 4:30am once during my stay and only fear was LE across the street over on Nathan since someone called them due to a fight that I witness with 4 teenagers beating up on one on what seems to be a fight over some girl that was in the group, silly kids!!

I guess it will depend on my mood if I decide to venture towards some of the seedier looking places esp going solo, if I had a fellow monger with me, no prob I'm all for the buddy system just in case something does go down in one of the safest places in the world! =]

On one of the nights that I stayed in Hong Kong, I was bored and couldn't sleep.  I ended up walking around at 4 am and there was a hot young thing stammering down the side of the road.  Clearly she was drunk, and maybe even on something else.  I was surprised that a girl like her would walk around this late at night.  I guess Hong Kong is safe enough for a girl to be able to do that without getting raped or mugged.

I asked her if she was ok and she responded by shouting at me and telling me something along the lines of "Fuck Off.  Get the hell away from me."  Needless to say, I let her continue stumbling down the street.  I didn't want to be arrested by LE thinking that I was some sort of pervert tourist trying to take advantage of a young girl while she was drunk.  So much for trying to help.

Is 37D and 8MK really smokey? Like would my wife be able to smell cigarette smoke on my clothes like with some of the night clubs?I went to a nightclub once when my wife was in taiwan and it was very smokey. All my clothes smelled, but it was worth it. The girl I fucked had a really tight pussy.

Yes I agree HK is very safe and I think the reason you dont see girls like that getting raped here is because prostitution is legal and not very expensive here so for 300 HKD you can unload any built up sexual tension. I think it should be legal all over the world.

mrblack, there's no smoking in either 37D or 8MK. You're brought into your own private room and frankly, the only thing I worry about when I get home is smelling like a different kind of shower gel than we're using at home. So once I get home, first thing I do is hop into the shower, use my own shower gel to mask out the other scent. But no cigarette smoke.

That's not true, the times I been to 37D, I was allowed to smoke in the room.

at 8mk, is it like some spots on shanghai street where you have multiple punts within your time span? i'm interested in makinga stop at 8mk.
