Hi All; I am in HK until Monday, and want to go to Macau to check out the sauna scene etc.  When would be the best time and day for me to go?  Should I go at night and stay in Macau?  I've seen reports where you can sleep at the sauna's, but I'm not sure how long they let you sleep there for?  Any help in planning my trip is appreciated.... thanks

And depending on if you've already pre-paid for a hotel room in Hong Kong or not, it MAY or MAY NOT be worth it for you stay overnight at a sauna.   Be forewarned though, that in many cases you'll end up sleeping on a bunk-bed in a dormitory full of snoring, farting guys or our out in the open, brightly lit and TV-noised common room slumped on an armchair. In theory, you should be able to get back before 1am depending on the ferry timetable and if D1 have rooms for your session if they are busy but seems quite rush. I usually sleep on the ferry rides to offset from the lack of sleep if coming back during the early hours of the morning Buy package at Ferry Terminal - 10mins Ferry ride & immigration (including waiting for ferry) -1hr 30mins Walk to D1 from Macau ferry pier - 10mins Pick a girl - 10mins Session - 90mins (depending if its a weekday or weekend - weekend sessions are shorter by 15mins) Walk back to ferry terminal to get ticket - 10mins Ferry ride & immigration - 1hr 30mins Total time: 5hrs or so if no hiccups Recent Ratings hockeywander   10-5-2012 15:54   Acceptance   +1   Good info, thanks for the time breakdown!
