Not sure where to put this.

I am supposed to go to Jakarta for work this week or next week. Was thinking ahead, with the SO out,  I could get there for the weekend and chill out in the Shang and go to the Bats to scout local talents when it struck me... Its ramadan right? And ramadan means no girls (they go back home) and bars closed (aaaaaah noooo! Need my drinks!!!).

Do you guys know what impact this has on the businesses (remember one year ending up with my five fingered widow as the bats was CLOSED on ramadam for renovation). Anyone there at the moment? Am a lazy guy so I usually pick the easy way (ie stay in SL and pick girls down at the bats) anyone knows the status of the bar? If closed, are there other hotels like SL that are open with a bar and a good selection of talents? Not sure 100% I'll head there but if I do, dont want to end up on a solitary trip! ;)

A lot of questions but am thinking of not going if it means ending up in my room with my burger watching CNN or whatever crappy program with a bahasa subtitle...

in ramadhan in Jakarta most of the bars attached to hotel like BATS will be normal. The girls go back only on the last week of Ramadhan, somewhere after 10 Aug.
Most working girls are unaffected by Ramadhan. If any, it affected more the mongerers than the WGs.

Most of the WGs I know complained that during Ramadhan their number of customers decreased a lot because of the fasting.

However if you find slim picking in BATS or want to find other source, the best source to pick up girls if you are lazy is to go to some "brothel" hotel to pick up the girls.

If you are looking after good quality, you may look into Alexis, Malioboro, or Emporivm hotel. You can come to the spa (2nd Floor in Emporivm or 7th floor in Alexis). Both places are actually spa cum brothel.
When you enter, normally you will be directly greeted by the staffs. Most of the staffs speaks good english and they can help you pick up the girls.
just ask for the line-up of girls and pick the one you want. You can fuck them right there in their hotel room or ask to bring them back to your hotel.

I assume you already know the mechanism to pick-up the girls and bring them to your hotel from these hotels. However if you need more info I can post it up for you.

Thanks for that. Indeed, bats is totally open until 2 (usually its 3). Got this large indo girl chatting me all night while i was just enjoying the show and having drinks  but passed on that one (have work tomorrow). She's got a pretty face but shes definitely large. For the ones coming later in august, there are some specific religious days where spas and bars are closed or close earlier (bats would then close at 11pm).

Well ended up in Bats as planned and thewide frame chick was not there. So stayed and had drinks. Wasnt so much in the mood as the first girl I talked to was pretty but she knew it and had no conversation whatsoever even though she spoke decent english. You know its these discussions where you say something, the other answers just yes or no and thats it... Blank... boooring!

So took me some time to run away from her (my instinct said "dead fish"). Went to another table but the mood was gone so drank my beers listening to the music. Turneddown a few girls (really mood was gone) until this chick came to me saying "wow you turned down those girls whats wrong with you? Are you gay?". And instead of saying "I can get better in hk" (my thought) I said "am not into wg" (yeah big lie... ). And she starts talking to me for a while saying she's there as its the only live bar in jkt during Ramadan, really nice chick, quite sexy and a great face and smile. At 2, the bar closes and I tell her good night and she follows me to my room . She was great... Really... She said she was a civvie but honestly either she is really into it or she was lying (guess its number 2). Anyway, I offered money and she yelled at me. Guess I'll be seing her again... Still curious to see wether shes really a civvie... Looks like a classic "dont pay me now, but its going to cost you" scheme... Typical Jktwas fooled once...
But you know the say, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me... Hope I wont end up being ashamed! ;)
