I have a question about the dosage though, for someone 40 years old with no previous history of ED, what would be a good starting point? The last thing i want is leaving the hotel with a raging boner lasting for hours after the deed is done
I would suggest that you actually read up on what erectile dysfunction drugs do before spouting off nonsense and perhaps later even taking them.
ED drugs make it easier for blood to flow to the penis. You don't automatically get an erection just from taking ED drugs. You still have to be turned on. Assuming that the cause isn't psychological, someone with ED still gets turned on, but the difference is that physiologically it's difficult for their body to have blood flow into the penis and thus an erection cannot be achieved. Very loosely explained, ED drugs relax those muscles so that blood can flow. If you don't have erectile dysfunction then ED drugs will only make it quicker for you to achieve an erection, but when you're not turned on or thinking about it then it's all back to normal.
