The mongering environment is not as safe.  No need to get paranoid, but don't expect it to be like Hong Kong.  Lots of scams and pickpocketing.  You'll need to use some commonsense. #5 Post at 17-9-2012 05:58  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L We used to stay in Makati.  P Burgos Street is where all the girlie bars are.  The City Garden Hotel was good, clean and pleasant.  The Century Citadel was cheap.  There were plenty in between.  Walk out the door, look for a neon sign, tat's all there is to it.   On my most meorable (not literally) night there, I arrived at 5 am... Actually, possibly the second most memorable, but the other most memorable night I left the day before... SB SB
