whispers & Moans - movie about HK wg

anyone see it?
I just saw it and thought it was pretty good.
it is based on the real life stories of wg, pimps, karoake girls, etc.
basically it tells about how the mainland girls were taking over from the local HK wg.
the locals could not compete against the mainland girls due to price, looks, service and lots of HK night clubs had to close.
did this really happen? are there less night clubs in HK than in the past?

seems reasonable to conclude that's what happened. I also wanted to watch that movie but haven't watched it yet. i watched one called "sex work" and "sex work 2" made in HK. same premise with the mainland girls coming to HK to work and driving down the prices. follows the lives of several mainland girls. It's like a docu-drama. very intersting.

these are the herman yau movies right?  if so, there's part 1 and 2.  both pretty good.  highly recommend watching them.

Theres also a bit about the other WG too right, the Working Guy? Talk about balanced portrayals. But I like the part where he (the WG) falls for a tranny and gets chopped up.
