Got these off another site. Supposedly happened in Zhengzhou, Henan a couple of days back and is big news on all the chinese websites. There's also a video of cops breaking in a door and hauling off the punter and WG in their birthday suits. WTF!?

WOW! Guess the non-existence human rights issue is true afterall in China. They should at least get some Female Gong An Officers. I think they are shaming the WG and punters alike.

Fuck me...Now that is scary..That definately has put me off going into a sauna in China. My god the embarassment that would cause. Do the punters get arrested and question as well.

This kind of raid happens all the time in China all the time, especially in jurisdiction/region where prostitution is strictly forbidden.

Frankly my intention is not to cause panic but to inform. If my original post smacks of inadvertent scaremongering I will amend it. There has been some discussion of this in the China Reports section just recently especially before 10/1 but the reports since then have given the impression that the coast all across the motherland is very clear.

May I suggest that you shift the thread back. There is value in keeping bros interested in China informed. I will be the first to agree with you that these events are far removed from DG and ZH and the likelihood of it happening in ground zero is low. It will not change my plans to visit and punt. But I think it is only fair that we have a balanced picture of what is really happening on the ground, especially for those venturing beyond ground zero. Bros, newbies included, can make the decisions themselves.

I can see what you hope to do, but you certainly can't hope to keep information of this nature down by such a surreptitious move. It will and is already emerging all over the internet and will inevitably arrive here. Censorship in any form is just not going to work.

If that is the case and the reason you putting this thread up is to disseminate infomation and warning to fellow members, Chat is rather a better section because, this section has no RA limit, login or not login, all can see.

Have I punted in China before? Not much, but yes I have. You can see a couple of my reports in the China section. I have in fact followed all your China reports with great interest and was hoping to be able to join you and the bros when I next visit.

Am I on a China punting warning parade? Absolutely not. I am sorry that you are doing yourself an unnecessary disservice by labelling it as such. This is in addition to hiding this post in this section (you can call it what you want but hiding is hiding). I know from reading your reports and those of other bros that DG is still a great place to punt, but the fact that this did happen elsewhere in China came as a complete shock to me since it has never been brought up in this forum.

There is a difference in being aware and being ignorant but I guess as moderator, you call the shots.

I know that every business has to pay off the government at some level. I am chinese but was raise in the WEST and since i have been back and the shit i have seen. I not a surprise to me that this sauna piss one of Mao's boy off. So he sent in the boys to show who is the boss. The government in china is the mafia......... the law is up to them when to enforce it and how to enforce it. Plus then control the news, if it make the government look good you will sure see it in the news but if it make them look bad you can't talk about it. Is my 2 cent ............ You got a point here. I don't think its about the money. More like some local police chief or
official has something personal against the owners of this joint. If its just a matter of the joint
not coughing out enough dough, they wouldn't need to post videos/pictures of the raid and
in such fashion at that.

geez, this is bad stuff. Not because of the action from LE but the way they handle things.
Like bro Dutchdoubles says, it could well be a personal vendetta against the owners or just a show of what will happen if the orders are not obeyed (from the LE to the MP bosses).
