After watching the promo vid on youtube (esp the Supertrouper bit at around the 1:13mark when the whole audience has their finger up and waving it about,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgrm-jiL6kE, I went to see it tonight, expecting it to be really camp and not looking forward to it at all, but I have to say that it would be one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I am still on a high after all the singing, clapping and dancing in the aisle.
At one stage the whole row held hands, some woman held my SO's hand and I grabbed the Chinese man's hand next to me. He got a bit of a shock at first,
but then we all joined in song (shit his hand got sweaty, but he was probably saying the same about me
). I can't remember the last time I have had so much fun at a concert. My number one for a long time has been an ACDC concert I once saw n Aus, but this Abba cover band totally and utterly kicked arse. The girls had mad mad vocals.
Anybody else go to see it?
