It's an odd comparison, in many respects. Both the Metropark and Golden Dragon are right in the heart of sauna territory, while the Sheraton Cotai is far away from that, in the heart of "Las Vegas, Asian Edition" (Cotai / Taipa). I must be missing something fundamental, because these two areas just seem too different to be properly compared, at least for mongering purposes. I suppose taxis and shuttles bridge the gap, but I remember just how convenient everything was when I stayed at Rio. Old Macau is so compact.
Also, I've noticed that ctrip.com is sometimes a bit cheaper than agoda or asiarooms, but there's not 100% overlap in their hotels.
