The Google Phone is now out, and it has it all ...

Knocks i-phone to the kerb, guess I'll get flamed by Apple fans but someone has to tell it the way it is!  And Nokia? well, Nok, honey, we've been together for a very long time now, but you have to understand things change sometimes, I just met someone else, hope you understand, maybe we can still be friends, eh?  

It's only officially released in USA, but I just had a play with one in a shop in TST - $5,500 - my ship is definitely sinking ... not sure how long I can resist ...

I'm still waiting for them bring in the English version of the Samsung Omnia i908... Fuck, why don't they do that! Chinese version is no good for me.

i think depend on what you need or like.

I got a N95 8gb, loved the camera, music player and GUI.  But its a brick!

My brother got a samsung i900 16gb, its pretty damn sweet, slim, 5mp camera, touchscreen, the interface is not as smooth as iphone 3g, but its still a great phone.

sony c905 is great with excellent camera, highest MP I think on a phone, GPS, etc... but pretty expensive now.

You know, I just relaize I bought HTC and i-908 at airport and it was departure, meaning out of Taiwan... I saw all kinds nationality there of course. They should have English version. I wiil ask next time and let you know.

The english version of the Samsung Omnia i908 phone is available on the grey market in the usual mobile phone shopping malls in Mong Kok (i.e. Sin Tat ). Obviously, would be paying a slight premium to get an english version.

Samsung just brought out the i8519H phone ... its got a 8M camera and double LED flash ... got all sorts of awards
for its picture taking ability and its got a built in 16G memory + 16G mini SD external.  
Check it out !

The English version of the i908 (i900) is available as a parallel import in a lot of independent shops ... in both 16G or 8G
version. Cost is about $4800 and $4200 respectively ... 5M camera, 3.2" screen and 16G memory.

For mongering phone, if taking pictures without being noticed, then try the phone before you buy.

So far, I can't turn off the 'shutter sound' in Samsung's i908, figure I won't be able to use it in Sauna longue then.
