The caller Id will only say Unknown number which will cause them to ignore call as they would think you are some punk annoying them with prank calls or you are the LE. Get a local prepaid number, it is cheap and easy.

They will deem it too troublesome and ignore you. U can just go to HK 7-11 and get a HKD$50 sim card with already some minutes on it. Very very cheap.
